Zambia may lose on purpose because they would rather face Korea instead of Germany or Argentina which they are likely to face if they finish at top.
If Zambia lose, Iran finish 4th if Iran lose to Portugal irrespective of GD.
Even if Zambia don't lose, if Iran lose to Portugal there is practically no chance to advance since Argentina have +1GD as a 3rd place finisher and I do not foresee any other 3rd place finisher <= 3 points and a worse GD.
If Japan screw up against Italy badly and Vietnam don't win maybe...

Reading his delusional posts is actually quite funny. I can admit when Iran sucks at something. There are many sports where we are weak. I lived with 3 Korean roommates in college, and although they were nice guys, the inferiority complex they had was really apparent.

They would wake up to watch Korea play Japan in baseball and lose, and they would be fuming about how Japanese are so dirty and cheat in baseball. They would watch Korea lose in sports in the olympics and they would act the same way. Always degrading the opponent.

When we lost to Korea in 2011 Asian Cup, I said to myself that we played badly and Korea were the stronger team. When we beat Korea soundly 4 or 5 times in a row, guys like Pandora try to degrade us to make themselves feel better. Iran is the better team right now in football, but Korea is better in other sports. We are also better in many sports. Pandora is either a troll, and I laugh at his ignorance, or he is seriously suffering from an inferiority complex and I feel sorry for him.

I once asked one of my roommates why he acted the way he did over sports and got so personal with other countries and he said its because Korea has been bullied so much in their history as a nation by its neighbors. So the country has built this inferiority complex where they need to succeed in sports to prove their worth.

We should feel sorry for someone like Pandora, not ban him. If he's just trolling, he will get bored when Korea is not in this tournament anymore.

You know, unless the referees repeat the 2002 World Cup and gift a semi-final appearance to the host team who are assaulting their superior opponents on the field.

Someone just find that video of Korea physically attacking players in the 2002 WC with no calls and post it here for Pandora. Koreans love having to explain away that debacle

Just laugh at trolls nader jan. Do not give them the satisfaction of getting upset. Even if he is Korean, it is troll behavior to enter a Persian football website to talk down to Iranian football, so either way he is a troll. Unlike our Uzbek members who come and wish our team success, but hope for their own team's success, this Pandora fellow is talking down to us. Let him do that.

Calm down guys. Its not world war 3. Pandora didn't say anything to take offense to. In fact i think he made better arguments than most members here. Koreans are great people and Korea is a great country. Lets just accept that other people are proud of their country and their teams just like we are and not get offended every time someone talks good of their own team. even though we are seeing somewhat of a resurgence from Iran in football we still have not won anything important in a long while and are the only big Asian team not to have advanced in the world cup and the u20 world cup while we have Saudi who has won it and japan who has made the finals along with Korea making semis.

Regarding tomorrow's game, I hope we can win this game and advance from the group. We have the talent with 2 players being in FIFA's top 50 to watch for and a few other talents like Noorafkan..etc hopefully we can win and get to play Korea which can give us a good chance to appear in the semis. if we can manage that then we will be the only country in the world to have made all 5 FIFA tournaments this year and hopefully the only one to have appeared in 3 semifinals out of the 5. Yes, the only country in the world!

That would make sense if we didn't always bring up 6-2 when Korea was better than us. Not saying you did it, but it was not an uncommon argument at all.

i haven't personally heard Iranians talking down to Koreans the way they talk down to us though. Go on Reddit, and see how smug many of the Korean members are whenever Iran is mentioned. They often equate us to Arabs, which is their go to move since they know it gets under our skin. They love bringing up that game in 2012 when Rahmati was wasting time. They literally never forgot that, and pretend that behavior 6 years ago defines us now.

We shouldn't excuse this as "we are better now so they can insult us." Koreans since many years have looked down on us as being worse than them for some reason. Even if we beat them for the next 100 years, they will maintain this belief. As I said, it's a centuries old inferiority complex.
