Looks like we ended last and Zambia never scored.

The team clearly had no real plan or a tactic against Portugal.
For the first time I agree with everyone saying Peyrovani is a terrible coach.
The least he could have done is fixed the players mentality which they were also very poor, you need to know how to play when you are up and down. They pissed away a WC just like that.

tooooo defensive. This team had good quality going forward. Shekari, Jafari, Mehdikhani, Ghaedi but they were not utilized properly. I understand a defensive approach but this was just too much, far too deep. Reality is peiravani isnt a coach with his own ideas, fresh approach , etc. He is a good guy, who was humble enough to ask CQ for advice. This was defensive CQ tactic but was only worked on max two months before tournament. The team was not able to connect defense, to mid, to attack. They gave it their all but unfortunately i think the game plan was just not thought out enough. This game plan could only max get us one result, which it did against CRC, not more than that.
We did not deserve to go through. Fair play to shekari though, the kid will make it somewhere in europe. Mehdikhani was also impressive, good dribbler, and hard worker. Shojaei as well worked tremendously defensively. My only wish was that ghaedi played more minutes, almost created amazing chance with the three mins that he got...

The team had no tactic against any team, we only lived in the hope of Reza's individual performance.
Once again we got to taste how Team Melli was before CQ era. Never forget that what we have right now is something great on Main Team Melli Level, we will most likely never have a coach like this again. Ill just enjoy every minute with CQ.

i dont give a fk if he is a nice guy
when you are so grossly under-qualified for such jobs then its only fair to refuse to apply nor accept such highl level coaching jobs..! and the fking audacity to want to now head our U23 coaching job..!!
