Coach Chamanian has a tough decision for the third game now that U17 has advanced. Should he rest his starter and give chance to reserve players or go with his best 11.
I hope he gives rest to half of the team and gives chance to others.

Vahid Namdari ( 16 Mf), Saied Karimi (18FW) , Nasiri ( 5 CB) could start along with new reserves should they do satisfactorily.

    other options:

Ghodamoradi (21) could play for Hosseinzadeh(7)
Sardari (19) or Kushki (15) could start for Ghaderi (17)
Khaghani 20/Janipour 13 could start for Ghobeishavi (10)

When ever Iran has been in this situation and the coach decided to rest the main team in the last group match and fielded the reserves, they ended up losing the 1/8 final match after that.

I think he better let the main team play with a few changes and let the team get more gameplay practice, more cohesion and experience. Then they would be in a better shape for 1/8 finals.

I would not change the CBs! Only one of LB/RB. Then I would see who of our attacking players is really tired. For example I would play Delfi cuase he is the star and he should get the playtime.
I would change max of 4 players.
We have 3 Subs and should use them also right.

The most important is to go in this game and Win the game. Cause its important to have a run.

Dynamic [Iranian] duo leave Germany in a spin

                http://www.fifa.com/u17worldcup/news...n-2913107.html

                • Allahyar Sayyad and Younes Delfi have formed a formidable attacking partnership for Iran
                • The pair played their part in Iran's biggest win at a U-17 World Cup
                • Both players are good friends off the pitch as well

Allahyar Sayyad and Younes Delfi appeared to be inseparable on Tuesday evening, choosing to stand beside each other to answer questions from journalists in the mixed zone after their second Group C match. On the pitch, they were working so well together that Germany’s defenders could well have had nightmares about them in their sleep.

Iran’s resounding 4-0 victory - their biggest win in tournament history - allowed them to book their place in the Round of 16, putting them firmly among the favourites to lift the FIFA U-17 World Cup trophy and giving their opponents plenty to think about. “We didn’t have a good game today, and our limitations were exposed in many situations,” said Germany coach Christian Wuck after the match.

After catching up with the two Iranian marksmen in the labyrinthine corridors of the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, FIFA.com suggests two reasons why the pair work so well together.

                Allahyar Sayyad
                Goals against Germany: 1
                Tournament goals: 2

                Younes Delfi
                Goals against Germany: 2
                Assists against Germany: 1
                Tournament goals: 2

                Unspoken understanding
Having spent the past two years playing alongside each other for the Iranian national youth team, Delfi and Sayyad get on just as well off the pitch as they do on it, communicating regularly and conscientiously preparing for the task ahead. “We spend a long time talking to each other before each match and work out a game plan,” said Sayyad. “We always go through the details one more time and don’t like to leave anything to chance,” he added, providing a vital insight into their successful collaboration. “Allahyar is a warrior in attack. He never gives up, is always hungry to score goals and is very quick,” said Delfi in praise of his likeable strike partner, before adding: “Knowing each other’s strengths helps us to work well together.” This was particularly apparent when Sayyad met Delfi’s cross with a powerful header for the third goal.

                Tactical awareness
"Germany have defensive problems,” said Iran coach Chamanian Abbas after the match. “They have a very good team and are strong going forward, but we knew that if we could contain their attack, we would get our chances and could hurt them at the back.” Of course, having two players in your ranks capable of implementing your plans so effectively is a gift for any coach. “The boss said we had to use the space between their central defenders and between midfield and defence – and I think we did that very well,” said Sayyad with a grin. Indeed they did. The pair repeatedly pushed on into these gaps and made smart runs through the backline, forcing Germany's defenders into too many mistakes and creating an array of goalscoring opportunities.

I hope this strike partnership continues to flourish all the way through the youth teams.

Are there any European scouts at these games that can sign up Sharifi, Delfi, Sayyad, and Taha immediately?

The game against Costa Rica. Give ALL PLAYERS a chance to play.

If you have played football, you should know that there are: injuries, yellow cards, fatigue, and unforeseen circumstances.

The result is not important so WHY go for the WIN? Save energy, Save players from injuries, let them watch and learn. Let all of them play. Iran needs all the players to have WC experience.

He needs to go with second stringers - to prep them and give rest to first team.

The first team has tons of prep games for the next round (Mexico, France, Guinea, Germany) in last couple of weeks. They are gelled.

Only slightly injured players and booked players should rest. Other players should play but maybe get subbed out or subbed in in the match. You cant make to many changes just because you want to rest players.
And a loss can hurt the teams aura.

Momentum matters alot in these sorts of tournaments, so I would have the main starters come in as subs around the 60th minute. Don't change the defense.

Coach Chamanian said he will go with full force, but i suspect there may be a change or two.
He is the coach and make all decisions as deems fit.

Sharifi & Delfi have experience with PGL & ACL games, but they are not ready for TM.
Path for them as well as Shariati, Sayyad....is next U19 Asian Championship then WCU20.
