What are your thoughts about betting on a win of IRAN over Costa Rica. Return would be 60 % (1.6). This would bemy first bet after a long time. Keeping in mind how our boy played against Germay, this could be a realy good value bet.

Coach Chamanian said he will go with full force, but i suspect there may be a change or two.
He is the coach and make all decisions as deems fit.

Sharifi & Delfi have experience with PGL & ACL games, but they are not ready for TM.
Path for them as well as Shariati, Sayyad....is next U19 Asian Championship then WCU20.

Where are you finding these odds? I am not getting them anywhere to bet on at these odds.

Other teams in contention for second and even third spot are expecting Iran to put out a strong side as Costa Rica would definetly do, so fatigue booking injury or what Iran owe it to professionalism and fair play to put out the core of the team with possibly 2 or 3 fringe players.
History has shown that teams that make wholesale change don't necessarily do well in the next round. I agree lose momentum or rhythm- it could backfire!

Seems they have a social media ban during WC. They are not posting anything since their camp in marbella. Totally opposite of u20 who posted constantly after every result, every day while in WC . Shows they are determined and are in it for the long haul.

I noticed this too. Nothing.

As I said, there was a clear tactical brilliance by Abbas during the game, but his calm demeanor after the game and the player's calm demeanour - they weren't going crazy with teh celebrations etc. - shows they are serious about contending. This was our biggest U17 win, ever, yet you could not tell by their reactions. It was just business as usual kind of ...
