سرمربی تیم ملی در تماسی تلفنی پیروزی نوجوانان ایران مقابل آلمان را تبریک گفت.
به گزارش "ورزش سه"، بعد از بازی نوجوانان مقابل آلمان در جام جهانی این دسته کارلوس کی روش سرمربی پرتغالی تیم ملی بزرگسالان در تماسی با عباس چمنیان برد 4 گله ایران را تبریک گفت.

چمنیان با اعلام این خبر گفت: « همه مردم ایران از این اتفاق خوشحال هستند.
پیام های بسیار خوبی را هم به ما ارسال کرده اند که باعث افزایش انگیزه ما می شود.
رئیس فدراسیون فوتبال هم اینجا حضور دارد که اتفاق خوبی برای تیم ما بوده است، چون همراه تیم ما بود و باید از او تشکر کنم.
کارلوس کی روش هم در تماسی که با من داشت، پیروزی تیم را تبریک گفت و همه اینها باعث انگیزه ما می شود.»

Group A results show USA as a strong 3rd place finisher and likely to be the top 3rd place finisher from groups A/B/F (which will play the top team of Group C). Thus, we'll likely be facing USA in the next round...after beating the likes of Germany/France/Mexico, it's completely doable for TM!

Yes, I was watching parts of USA - Columbia. Columbia players really tried hard until the last minutes. This game had EIGHT minutes of extra time.
I would love Iran to win against USA and makes some news.

I actually think Iran has a great chance against US, I watched the highlights of the US matches and most of their goals came through defensive errors of the other teams. I think Ghana and Columbia would have given us more of a challenge in the next round, relative to the US. Happy with this match up: Chamanian will do his pre-match analysis magic and the boys will execute it for another win!

Wouldn't that just be more salt on the wound of U.S. soccer at a time like this.

Their youth teams must know a little about France 98. That's regarded by their soccer fans as an embarrassing loss.

Not to mention they were recently eliminated in qualification for Russia 2018.

If we beat them in the R16 and defeat them very badly, it will surely make the headlines.

If match versus USA happens, next game most likely will be versus Spain.

One game at a time. But would have been nice to avoid real big boys until semi's, but with a 4-0 vs france, 4-0 vs germany, 3-0 vs mexico, this team has showed they can really go against anyone,

Little disappointed that Sharifi hasn't continued his form from the Asian Championships last year.

Taha seems to have improved quite a bit however, and looks much more like a CB who is good on the ball as well.

Considering how good CB's are hard to come by nowadays, he might end up in a pep guardiola team one day.

Until then, Esteghlal U-18 it is for him.
