What do you think was Iran’s secret weapon against Germany? Well, yes they are the most fearsome strike force in the tournament and also have proven to be better-drilled than most teams at this level. But to some close to the team the clincher could well have been the Chicken Biryani that they had at their team hotel the night before their famous 4-0 win against their strong opponents. While the high-profile likes of Brazil and Germany prefer carrying their own chefs for major tournaments, Iran chose to stick by what the chef has to offer. And the day before the biggest match of their lives, they chose to go with the chef’s special, Chicken Biryani. And it worked.

A lot of indian/pakistani/bangladeshi restaurants claim that the Biryani originates from Iran.

The name certainly does, I think a long time ago it may have evolved from one of iran's dishes but has changed over time.

به گزارش سایت رسمی فدراسیون فوتبال،مهدی تاج جمعه شب و ساعاتی پس از مسابقه ایران مقابل کاستاریکا در جام جهانی نوجوانان در دیدار با اعضای تیم اظهار داشت:به شما بابت کسب نتایج درخشان در مرحله گروهی جام جهانی خداقوت می گویم.این نتایج در بیش از ۹۰ سال تاریخ فوتبال کشورمان در میدان های جهانی سابقه نداشته است.امروز شما بار ديگر بر شایستگی جوان ایرانی در یک آوردگاه مهم جهانی مهر تایید گذاشتيد و توانايي هاي خود را به نحو احسن نشان داديد.

وی ادام داد:از نظر من همین حالا هم شما قهرمان هستید.با این وجود فکر می کنم در تیم ملی نوجوانان کشورمان این ظرفیت وجود دارد که مسیر مقتدرانه اش را ادامه بدهد و تا مراحل بالای جام جهانی حاضر شود؛ این موضوع را بر اساس شایستگی ها و توانمندی های این تیم می گویم.فرآیندی که می تواند در کنار تداوم ارائه توانایی های فنی و همچنین اصل مهم دوری از غرور کاذب به خوبی طی شود.

رییس فدراسیون فوتبال با تاکید بر ضرورت دوری کردن از غرور در مقطع فعلی تصریح کرد:فلسفه فوتبال بازی در کنار هم و برای هم است.اتفاقی که اهمیت زیادی دارد درک این نکته مهم است که بازیکنان موفق و حرفه ای در فوتبال امروز جهان هم فداکاری را در زمین رقابت معنا می کنند.


رییس فدراسیون فوتبال افزود:به قول شاعرشیرین سخن؛قطره دریاست ، اگر با دریاست؛ورنه او قطره و دریا،دریاست.این بیت؛ وصف کامل موفقیت و کار تیمی در فوتبال است.موضوعی که من در بازی های تیم نوجوانان به وفور دیدم و یقین یافتم برای شما پیروزی در قالب تیمی اهمیت دارد و نه رسیدن به موفقیت های فردی.روندی که حتما می بایست در ادامه رقابت ها هم سرلوحه تیم باشد و در نهایت تبلور موفقیت در قالب یک تیم به منصه ظهور برسد.
وی خاطرنشان کرد:آنچه دقیقا امروز اسباب موفقیت شما شده و در صحبت های سرمربی محترم تیم هم شنیده ام،همبستگی تیمی تان بوده است.در واقع این تیم ایران است که ستاره جام جهانی نوجوانان است و اینجا باید بگویم عملکرد شما آنچنان موفق بوده که موجبات تمجید منتقدان فوتبال را هم فراهم کرده است.

تاج خاطرنشان کرد:نکته مهم دیگر اینکه شما فرزندان و نمایندگان 80 میلیون ایرانی هستید که اگرچه در کنار شما حضور ندارند اما دعای خیرشان پشت و پناهتان است.از شما می خواهم در تمامی لحظات حضورتان در میدان،مراقب تک تک کنش و واکنش هایتان باشید تا خدای ناکرده اتفاقی رخ ندهد که بعدا باعث حسرت و افسوس شود.به امید خدا و با تلاش و همیت وافر کادر فنی و غیرت و همبستگی تیمی،روزهای طلایی تیم ملی نوجوانان ما ادامه خواهد داشت و هموطنان عزیزمان همچنان در انتظار خبرهای خوش از هند هستند.

It looked liked he really injured his arm and i would not be surprised if he doesnt plays on tuesday. The way the physio was working on him felt like he was trying to avoid him going into shock. Holding his legs high, pouring water over his face. As i said i am afraid he has done something to the arm. The referee allowed some really rash challenges to go on in the game.

There is different way to read that which put Iran versus 3F
base on pecking order of table if first pick is for Paraguay that take USA then remaining choice for Iran is More likely Mexico.

ADEF will qualify, if Mexico can win, or draw at least. even if they lose it is ADEF because Chile will get 3 points.

New Zealand and Guinea are out for sure.

We will play Mexico, as I think England and Iraq will decide place 1 and 2 and Mexico won't lose vs. Chile. If they lose, we will play Chile.

Remind: Iran beat Mexico in friendly before 3:0 but Mexico has also good test with Iraq match for Iran match. Still I think our guys will do it.
