while I dont like parking the bus tactics, nevertheless, it is NOT unsportsmanlike. it's just an ugly TACTIC.
grass-rolling is NOT.

My comment was in reference to both teams having to play on the same terrible pitch where one team is playing for a draw. It's nothing new on football.
I think we should focus our anger at valid reasons for complaint. Not something that happens all around the world.راه یکی است و آن راستی است

the point is this venue and region as a whole could and should have been avoided. seasonal rains and monsoon is expected and any idiot with half a brain would know such conditions should be expected. While there were PLENTY of alternatives available (central asian countries, UAE, Oman, ...)
so the fact that despite such knowledge, the AFC (and the syrian gutters) picked and accepted this, shows there's more going on.
that is not mentioning the AFC's other preconditions (like seats, condition of pitch, ... ) all of whch would have ruled out such a stadium ... and yet, they approved it on this occasion.
you put all this together and see why ppl are complaining

besides, I and I'm sure many others are complaining and cribbing not because we feel our qualification is under serious threat. I doubt it is.
but the utterly unfair and ugly behavior of the syrian maggots and the other moron arab ref (allowing blatant grassrolling , time wasting, calling offside at least a couple of CLEAN on-side instances, very short injury time, ...) just makes "one's blood boil" ... literally.
it is the unfairness that riles me and others up.
If unfairness doesnt do anything to some of you and some actually come here PREACHING to others, then good for you. But dont preach to others because they have more awareness and sense of what is fair and what is unfair.

It still doesn't matter. It's their home game, the venue is up to them, you have plenty of similar examples.
Like when the US chose to play in Colorado in winter knowing full well it will snow and be more difficult for the Costa Rican players.
Even on this site people say we should play in Tabriz or Hamedan during the winter to give us an advantage.
People are complaining about a conspiracy when there is none. This is common if football.راه یکی است و آن راستی است
