I think 99% of Iranians going to Malaysia is the opposite of BrainDrain. No disrespect intended but it is just the easiest place to get accepted and get out.

He's talking about the brain drain in Iran, not Malaysia.

So am I. I am saying that the people going to Malaysia are for the most part not really part of the brain drain. At least that is my perception of it.

Yeah I see what you're saying. The smarties generally go to Europe/US & the religious go to Malaysia.

World Cup Qualifier: Syria - Iran; Info, Updates and Live Reports (15.11.2016)

Not directly related to this game, but do you think more Iranians will go to Russia if we qualify than they went to Brazil two years ago?

I know Russia is closer, but I doubt there is any direct routes to the host cities from Iran. Would there be any Visa issues for the Iranians travelling to Russia?

Hopefully we can get the stadium half filled with Iranian supporters this time in the World Cup!

Def more than Brazil. I went there and we maybe pushed over 5k in the stadium per match. I was from the US! Its probably a lot harder to get Iranians all the way over from Iran.

Russia is closer=cheaper tickets. Most of the host cities are ratger close by Russian land mass standards as well.

But do you reckon some Iranian airlines will do direct routes to Russia for the World Cup?

I'm not sure how it works. Can they just set up a new destination for the duration of the World Cup, or does it not work that way?

With the 200 new jets they bought I'm sure they can reach the ends of the earth now!!!

Just to let you know we had already advanced to the next round before that game so the players really took it easy that day. Not sounding arrogant, but Syria is really no match for us. If we perform half as good as we were against Uzbeks and Korea, the 3 points are in the bag.

Bad news: Milad Mohammadi is injured and will miss the next game most likely.

No body wants that we have the repeat of away Lebanon game we had in last campaign. In that match, many of our players were injured. We underestimated Lebanon. We also remember how much time they wasted in that match. Hopefully no more injury. Mohammadi injury reminded me of that awful away Lebanon game again. Also the history shows that we drop points against lower teams of the group in the WCQs more than other top Asian teams like Australia, Japan, Korea, and even Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

WARNING: The next match is very dangerous and we must play our best possible football in order to maximize our chance to win.

Question: Who should fill the LB spot for the next match? Hopefully CQ does not use Hajsafi in that position although he may do that. I prefer Ansari fills that spot in the next match.

I guess the Sydney time will be at 10 pm and not 11 pm.

                              There are few options:

                              1)Hajsafi
                              2) Playing Ansari as LB
                              3) Playing Vouria in right and Rezaein in left
                              4) Saeid Aghaei

I would personally go with Ansari but it will probably be Hajsafi
