yea he just got injured. Taremi will probably take his spot and play alongside Ashkan and Jahanbakhsh. or maybe Shojaei instead of Taremi. I think CQ will start with Gucci this game.

I guess he will start Akhbari, he is doing pretty good for Tractor this year, also my feeling is he plays Ansari or Aghaei as LB. He also likes to play Taremi as winger so won't be suprised if he repeats that
        Akhbari
        Rezaeian-Hosseini-PAG-Ansari(Aghaei)
        Ezzatollahi-Hajsafi
        Jahanbakhsh-Dejagah-Taremi
        Azmoun

        Subs: Gucci, Shojaei, Torabi

Mohammadi plated for Terek today so hopefully he can start and Hajsafi will remain as DM.

Im pretty sure Torabi will take his place. Taremi has proven to be more influential as a sub rather than a starter.

What a great time to be a TM-fan, because a few years back this would be a big issue and headache. Now our bench is pure quality!

It is actually the opposite. We are, alongside Australia, the most physically fit team in Asia. So the strength-issue is not a threat against us.The Syrian Team's strength is not so much their physique, but their speed. If you saw the last matches of Syria, they rely on parking the bus and quick transition via counter attacks.

They have 2 small and fast Khalatbari-esque midfielder who love to shoot. This is the only threat I see.

We will most probably win this match, but the opposition is more different than the prior 3 matches, because this time we are not the underdogs, no matter how hard we try to spin it this way. So I will expect a compact Syria parking the bus and relying on the counter.

The key for TM is to neutralize the midfield of Syria, be patient in attacks and never lose focus. We saw how Lebanon punished us when we only lost focus for 10 seconds in the last Qualifiers.

              GO IRAN!!!

Crucial 3 points. We need to take this match seriously and treat it as though we are facing the likes of Argentina.

If we win this one and South Korea/Uzbrkistan draw, I strongly believe we have secured our ticket to Russia 2018.

I hate to be negative but since everyone thinks this is a lock Ill point out the worst case scenario: We lose and Korea wins, Look at the standings then, Since We can never qualify easily prepare for this to happen also boys
                              WE ARE THE UNDER DOGS
