Lol is it really a TM list if theres no Ezzatollah Pourghaz… We could be talking about the 2022 WC list and Pourghaz's name will somehow be on the training camp list

He's not a bad player. Maybe he's not spectacular but if you watched his last game for Iran, played in CDM and was probably MOTM

Yeah I get that. Guess well wait and see who else gets invited but usually the final list consists of only 23 players which if you break it down it means each position on the field has 2 players invited plus 1 extra GK. Im not sure how many get invited for the training camp though.

Isn't it weird that Dejagah is not included in the list? He has no club, what could be the reason why he isn't included in the camp? Haghighi is invited, why not him?

There are at least 10 CD in Iran better than Pourghaaz, i don't get CQ love for this guy! I guess every coach has few like that Mayeli with Ostaad Asadi and Sadavi, Branko with few like Badavi, Kameli, etc and now CQ!

How Tall is Pourghaaz? he does not seem to be a tall player that one should be to play CD

Can everyone stop freaking out about Pourghaz, he's like our 5th choice CB and has experience and now understands CQ's system. He will never touch the field, but if he does, at least he'll know how to fill his role.

Also CQ really loves utility players, and Pourghaz can play CB but also had a good game at DM a while ago. So he is a good person to have in case there is an injury etc in the squad.
