Fully agree!! Syria FA must have been smoking some serious ganja, as this venue does nothing for them and only seasoned professionals can navigate in rain soaked pitches and Syrian players are not that!!

The location should change. Playing in the rain like that is dangerous.

No its fine. Especiallly with the condition of the grass. I assume experimenting was done which means the score matters even less. This was to familiarize ourselves with the stadium.

They wanted to play in Iran, and then Oman and a few other more neutral countries, but their dear brothers in the region didn't want to host them.

I really hope Mazaheri will be in the goal against Syria! He's now our best and most in form goalkeeper!

I don't think anyone is concerned about Syrian soccer when there is a civil war going on. I'm sure the news of how the Syrian team is doing is really filling up the news in their country. *Sarcasm.

                            this

dont our FA also need to agree to this playing venue ? dont believe it should be Syrian FA's choice alone..!!?

im glad no one got injured today, this shitt conditions is a recipe for pulled muscles of sort due to shitt footing..!!

in such kiri conditions, with the intensity of play in a WCQ, and certainly bigger and more physical (not to mention dirtier) Syrian players, the chances for a long term injury to a key starter is very high..! even if as expected we would win the match..!!

                                Very true!

But I have a question? How this match is not going to be counted! Of course it is going to be counted! We played a national team with less than 7 subs (6 is the max) also reported and scheduled by fifa!
