This game was one of worst games I have ever seen. Arabs wasting time from the beginning (even though they needed to win to stay relevant), and parking the bus. The field was absolutely fucked up and not fit for football. The ref was an arab that was totally in their favor. Such a waste of time, fuck AFC.

Quite hard to rate anything here, this game could go in any direction, even if Syria managed to win somehow it wouldn't surprise me.
I think 1 point is ok, this pitch just broke our playing abilities, usually we create our game out of short passing game, this wasn't possible on this pitch so no wonder we had no real advandtage despite being superior.
The real point of criticism is, our corners and other standards are becoming more and more worse. We were real beasts in situations like that at the AFC Cup or WC, really dangerous tricky guys, but now it's just shit without Andos corners and Agha Javads headers, in a game like this it would be gold.
Overall it's ok under conditions like that.

Lebanon got 4 in the return leg back in Tehran. Hopefully the same fate awaits Syria. Sardar is going to have fun with them

That was Ezzatollahi's worst game for TM. He lost possession many times. We improved only when he was subbed out.

One positive is that this should be a learning experience for our young players that never played under such conditions. Hopefully next time they can learn from this.
