I doubt Syria has any plans other than continuing their ugly displays and trying to get draws when capable. Hopefully they can slow Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur. They will get murdered in Tehran and Seoul.

In order for us to not make it we would have to actually concede goals for which the teams in our group have been too impotent to create.

As the first seed we have a lot of advantages in these 5 games. One of which is a jetlagged China in March. They play South Korea in China and have to play us in Tehran 5 days later. We are returning from Qatar which is much closer. Our two competitors have two home games left and we have three.

Other advantages are Qatars best player still suspended for the game against us but not others. China playing SK at home and looking to spoil esp with SHM suspended for SK. Our game in June vs Uzbekistan is also when our legionnaires will be free to join camp early.

In the next 4 matches if we can stay 1 or 2 points ahead of SK and Uzbekistan, We will qualify directly since the last game they will play each other.

Its a time to match their results and not lose which works because CQ has made a team that avoids defeat above all.
