In general yes, you are right, but for Ajax standards buying a 23 year old player, especially one from an Asian country who is is still relatively unproven (for European standards), is not something they would do so easily.
Ajax really loves to develop their own talents, or get talents at a very very young age.

They even made a fuss about buying the best player of the Eredivisie, Hakim Ziyech (23 years old back then), because they didn't really want to spend a lot of money, and that for an already proven player who was tearing the league apart at FC Twente.


Anyway, I would be surprised if this news about Torabi was true, and even more amazed if Daei came inbetween and did not let him go.

From my understanding, he has already rejected some EU based inquiries on behalf of Torabi, saying that he needed him & wasn't able to replace his quality & importance for his team this upcoming season ..!
But I also highly doubt he would stand in the way if an offer was to come from such high profile EU club such as Ajax...!

well I honestly dont think at this point he could be Expecting OFFERS to be coming his way from Europe..!! if he had any EU aspirations, he like Rumin would have to actively pursue it and doubt if any possibly Interested EU club would be willing to drop any more than 1-200k on his transfer outa iran anyways..!!
to say that Daie and or Saipa mgmt are really welcoming and encouraging of EU Move for him is also bs..!
