Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised. Because of their low budget Esteghlal personally screwed over the head coach’s list of players to purchase because they can’t afford it. Why they didn’t speak with the head coach of Esteghlal personally instead of being honest? Who knows.

It is kind of weird how some random person would do that. I also believe it’s the first time an Iranian from within Iran scares off a foreign player. This is why it is very sketchy.

Kudos to Schafer for not giving in to these agents trying to bring in garbage players into our league. He had a nice post a few days ago on instagram for those who missed it he was basically saying that he has been presented with many players from across the globe the ones that were good options did not come bc their salary demands were not met, the political situation in Iran, or had unrealistic demands.
