We must encourage co-operation between CAFA countries. I think it would be a good idea for the Azadegan League, to have 1 foreign player spot, which must be a player from a CAFA country. There are some players from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and such capable of playing in the Azadegan League, and it will help them develop more as Azadegan League is the 3rd most professional league in CAFA (after PGPL and Uzbek League).
Development of other CAFA countries is in our best interest.
Looking at Paykan's current pattern the Afghan captain is clearly a marketing strategy with hopes that the player also comes good. They are investing in all their social medias and even before they were trying to attract more fans by various ways
I suspect that Naft also wanted to do the same thing with the keeper however he was not even good enough to be in the squad, at least Paykan went for their captain I guess
