Remember this, there are today a lot of Iraqies living in Iran. Buying an Iraqi player = more revenue for the club.

Ali Karimi has reached an agreement with the club to become the manager of Naft Tehran - Varzesh3
I can just imagine him, after two games he gets into an argument with the Board of Directors and then leaves the club. Then proceeds to post instagram photos with quotes regarding lions, courage & other BS.

Anyways no domestic Iraqi player or any Asian player would be a good signing for Perspolis since they would just be a bench warmer and a waste of a foreign spot or take a spot from a young Iranian player.

wth happened to Torabi's EU interests..?
i know he is slowly recovering from a recent injury but im highly disappointed he didnt make the EU jump earlier and feel like he is slowly running outa time and opportunities to do so..??
hope and feel like he will be afforded some playing minutes vs montenegro and hope he makes a big splash to rekindle some of those EU vibes again..!

Ali Karimi is better off starting an academy. He will teach dribbling and passing to kids who will become the future TM players. He can have a nonprofit organization or take the money from kids and give it to poor people who cannot afford to to to hospital or specialist, or even a dentist. so the football skills can help to serve the society. If mansourian can do that , that would be nice. Not necessary for every footballer to become a coach. Zidane has much higher IQ and he was not just a great player.
