Joining clubs such the reds and blues is the most stupid thing any very young star footballer can do, for multiple reasons, most important lack of playing time, when was the last time any very young star transferred to Europe from these two clubs? if he is another one of those so called "future stars" who turn out to be far closer to average than a star, then you are right he should have chosen a team under less spotlight. there is no way a player can play for Perspolis and hide the fact that he is an average player.

BUT if you are a player who got what it takes, seeking to advance your career and move to the top of Iranian football, there is no better place for him than Perspolis. Talent alone is not enough with Perpolis. You must be able to handle the pressure of "fan expectations".
