Apparently for disciplinary reasons. He had a fall-out with Mansourian.

Again Esteghlal's goal scoring troubles continue, and Arash Afshin for some crazy reason remains out of the 18 man list.

At least Mansourian stopped cutting Barzay, he has scored 2 in 2 for them.

Though to be fair to EsEs and Mansourian, they did hit the post 3 times today.

Overall pretty good match in terms of entertainment and display from both squads. Naghshe Jahan looks like a great pitch to play on too, thank god they finally finished that stadium. Even though its out-dated as hell, its better than that grotesque excuse for a professional stadium we call Foolad Shahr.

Afshin was subbed in for the last 10-15 mins.

Naghshe Jahan should be used for couple of TM games, it looks much better than Azadi.

Ahh you're right, I watched him walk on, then I had to leave so I didn't get to see the rest of the match lol...I saw an Esteghlal insta page with the lineup before the game and he wasn't included in the squad at all, the anger from that was still in my head haha. Good, maybe this is the start of some minutes for him. I've heard Mansourian does not want to let him go this transfer window.

Naghshe Jahan is good to host some TM games, I just hope they add a few nice cameras to the stadium as well. Its a new stadium, why not add some new state of the art tech to go along with it

              Mansourian not a good sport

lol at making such a conclusion based on a picture. There could be a thousand reasons why he is laughing there. And if there is one coach in Iran who always is a good sport and always classy towards his colleagues, it is Mansourian.

Besides the scene in the picture is not from the late equalizer or anything in case people think that.

^ In contrary, Mansourian is one of the most ab zirekah and unprofessional coaches in PGPL. He is very ehsasati and javgir.

Oh really?! All the years that he was the coach of any other team other than Esteghlal het was praised for his class and professional behaviour and everyone was likking his balls, and now that he's been Esteghlal's coach for 6 months everyone (especially a lot of red fans) is suddenly saying all that shit about him?!

Anyway, whatever he is, at least he is not trying to hurt TM for his own sake's success and greed like f.e. your great hero Mr. Branko has been doing! That on its own is worth 1000 times more in my books than any tokhmi domestic title!!

Truth hurts. I love beautiful football and hate hashie the most. Mansourian uses the marefati approach which only works on youth level as he was quiet good at u-23 NT. I thought Mansourian would be a good coach previously along Golmo. Unfortunately, ever since, there was this rumor that he might come to SS he started acting unprofessionally and lost his class. I am not saying this because he is SS player. I just tell my honest opinion about him and I can give you reason for every single statement I said about him. I think it is better to hear us first or ask for the reason before just brushing us as rival team fans.

Btw, no coach is hero, god or flawless. I don't remember I have ever praised Branko vs CQ shenanigans. CQ has his own problems as well as all other local coaches. But at least Branko is a decent coach in PGPL because he has a professional license and lead our NT for a while.

The fallout with Carlos was unfortunate and unnecessary by both sides, but could have easily been avoided by the IFF or the Perspolis management. While the media portrays Branko as the biggest critic of TM alongside Ghalenoei, Branko has been 10x more supportive of TM than the likes of Ghalenoei or Mayeli-Kohan, it's not even comparable.

In the past when a club had +7 NT players, the IFF was never able to avoid a conflict (Perspolis 2012, Esteghlal 2014). This conflict of interest, which is hurting our football for years should be solved in the federation. Clubs should not suffer for TM sake and vice-versa.
Perspolis actually showed before the 1998 WC, how to solve this conflict.

Conversation between Rahmati and Mansourian after the game. There are rumors that Rahmati might leave SS

If Machine Sazi and Saipa are playing on the later this week does this mean CQ will wait for that game to be played before calling up the squad. Teymourian and Torabi are some of the only players from those teams

Torabi is doubtful, because he is injured.
There are Hazfi games on Friday and Saturday. The squad will be announced afterwards.
