It would be cool if Iranian players get to play against each other on a club level especially if it happens on a Champions league platform

Fun trivia, Mahdavika's HSV once played Nekounam's Osasuna in the 3rd round qualifier which decided who went to Champions League in 2006. HSV won the tie, and Osasuna went to Uefa Cup making the semifinal that year. I believe that is the only time Iranians have faced up in the Champions League as far as I am aware.

Off the top of my head the only Iranians to play in group stage of Champions League are Ali Daei, Mehrdad Minavand, Mehdi Mahdavikia, Vahid Hashemian, Ali Karimi, Ashkan Dejagah, Sardar Azmoun, Saeid Ezatolahi. Am I missing anyone? Hopefully Karim Ansarifard joins them this year.

With 21 players on the mission, the Olympiacos mission will be leaving for Belgrade on Monday ahead of the first match with Partizan for the Champions League's third qualifying round on Tuesday.

Beshin Hashi, who will sit for the first time in an official match on the "red-white" bench, will not have at his disposal Boccia, Androutsu and Elabbelawi, who are facing injury problems.

The same is true for Tachtsidis, who has not yet been listed on the two matches with the Serbian champions, like Eliounios, Mantas, Martins, Skafidas and of course the newly-acquired Milic.
