Wait so wtf happened? Azizi basically got the ref to change his decision by threatening to take his team off the pitch.

Then Azizi comes on national TV an criticises CQ for waiting for Ben Williams at half time when he ruined the game during AC 2015.

The referees are a joke indeed! Just look at the penalty kicks they give with every little contact. That's why our players are diving all the time or dropping themselves as if they have been shot with every little gooz!

The pk call on Rezaeian and the BS pk against Esteghlal would have never been given in a European league! Not to mention the goal Saba scored which was not given (Omranzadeh's header that had crossed the line).

Our managers are even worse! Their behaviour most of the time is disgraceful! This is the example they are giving to the youth who are watching these scenes as well. Or managers who for their own success heavily get in the way of our TM!

Taremi is known as a diver now, unfortunately. It happens in every sport in the world. You build a reputation as a player, and the refs always see your number. Taremi is known for diving in the box. He dove last week twice and refs rightfully called no foul.

I said this 2 years ago when he was drawing all those penalties with a lot of diving in the box. Soon he is going to build a reputation, and it will hurt him in the future. There might be a case where there is actually a penalty on him that is not called, because refs think he took a dive.


However in general, the refereeing , among a myriad of other things, is low quality in the PGL.

I don't argue about Taremi's dives, some of them are tabloid, but he didn't dive in the game vs. Gostaresh
- First penalty: Jesus clearly hits Taremi's leg which lead to Taremi losing control. That was a foul itself. Then Ebrahimzadeh collapsed with Taremi as well and hit his right leg. Which was a foul as well.
- Second penalty: Babak Hatami clearly hits Taremi with his knee, while he ran onto goal. Even Hatami admitted that it was penalty.
