seems unlikely there will be too many top league EU teams interested in signing an injury prone 30 year old who's spent the large part of the past 3 years wasting away in mickey mouse arab leagues and nursing injuries..!!??

his only salvation is to show up strong at TM camp and play outa his skin for TM this summer, to indicate to top teams that he still has goods to offer them, even though likely be in form of a utility bench player..!!

Andreas Rettig is a candidate to become Wolfsburg's Director of Football ( he is currently at St. Pauli). the article written by fussballnews (never heard of them) then went on to predict that the three players mentioned will probably leave wolfsburg. No quote from any official sources. Lets just see what happens and not jump to any conclusions. Bottom line is at least now he is fit enough to play at a high level, and that he is back in europe and has all his itc and shit together, so another transfer will be far easier. And ashkan is obviously willing to lower contract demands and already did by joining wolfsburg.

But dont forget that he also has a 1 year option and that its quite possible that he will stay.

jonker will likely be fired so it depends on who the next coach is. The last coach loved dejagah, and this Jonker guy even ended up warming up to him, im sure he can impress another coach now that he is fit and not injured.

he has seemingly recovered and considering his overall quality, i cant imagine a Bundes Liga relegation survivor could expect to retain better and more experienced midfielder in the market to replace him with..!!?

Ashkan will be 31 in July but I think if Ashkan is healthy Carlos is going to take a look at him no matter where he is playing.
