If he can't find a club in Europe he should join Perspolis, with his help i think Perspolis actually has a decent shot at winning the Champions League, if he does not find a club then he can kiss the world cup goodbye. With Shojaei, Rafieie, Ghoddos and Shekari we are good at the CAM position

besides, he has durability issues and seems awful injury-prone (probably a big reason why he is still left unemployed..!?) sometimes too much involvement in a competitive situation could well lead to his injury and him missing vital games for TM..!!
I also used to be very critical of his recent kiri club choices and situation but everytime he puts on the TM shirt makes me rethink my earlier assessments

It is sad to watch one of TM best players not finding a club...he sure needs to work on his stamina...he is spending more time with his kids right now which is great but buddy in 4 years you can do that for the rest of your life...i don't understand why there isn't any urgency....he needs to hurry up cause we sure need a healthy sharp Ashkan for WC

I feel like he's saving up energy for the final mission of his career, and that's the World Cup next year. It looks like he will probably retire next summer. At this point I don't care anymore since he is giving everything for TM, he's almost done anyways. I hope he continues to play like the last game against Syria
