Rahmati would have been yellow carded (for the second time) anyway, after going at Hosseini like that, obviously trying to start a fight.
Hosseini's reaction was irrelevant to that. He only was angry at Rahmati after coming at him for nothing and wanted to stick it to him, by making his case worse.

True Hosseini could have been red carded as well.


Also Hosseini's goal was really borderline, but still acceptable I believe. He had already over-jumped Padovani and was about to head it in. With putting his arms out he prevented Padovani from fouling him in the last second.

You must be kidding me? We have had our times with Ghalenoi and Daei. We don't need another coach with no resume destroy our team. These coaches need another 10 years of good football to even be considered for that position. PP had a bad day today with likes of Taremi ruining like 10 goal opportunities and SS taking advantage of our lack of LB/DM positions. A full PP team wouldn't lose that easy and it would be a draw in my opinion. I am sure someone with a very good analyzing ability like CQ helped Mansourian and Branco was overconfident and didn't cover our left side.

I wouldnt compare Mansourian to GN or Daei. Mansourian has had A) a succesful career as player including experience in Europe, B) an actual coaching education. He is C) actually talented at coaching and D) always tries to improve.

I have lots of respect for Mansourians efforts today. He analyse Perspolis in detail and showed a good formula to win their team. Watch for Taremi, Hosseini, sorosh rafiee and their connections. Comming back from 0-1 to 3-1 was a shock to perspolis. If Esteghlal attacked instead of saving the result they could score more. Bad news for Esteghlal is that 3 players can not play next game. I really want to listen to CQ's comment after this game. He usually don't comment other teams but I bet he would say Branko don't blame me.

Mansourian best performance was in second division Saint Pauli in Germany. The rest are playing in Malaysia, Singapore, Greek second division and Cyprus.

Actually he doesn't have that education. He could not sit on SS bench in ACL if he didn't attend last minute coaching class in Iran. (on class ham formalite bood) Daei and Ghalenoi has better coaching license than Mansourian. The only benefit he has got is that he worked with Iranian u-22 team and know how to play or manipulate young players. (his marefati approach works on young kids only otherwise take a look at older players like Bakhtiar Rahmani or Rahmati who don't give a shit)

Definitely not. I think Golmohamadi, Daei, even Ghalenoi are better than him. Hashemian has not managed a team but his knowledge is better than all Iranian coaches. He just doesn't have connection in PGPL and he is a gentleman, so the mafia in PGPL doesn't give him a team.

I agree that branco should not be our NT coach but Mansourian is also a big NO for me. I don't think Branco is mafia but he is not smart enough to be our NT either. He is too stubborn to accept his mistakes specially about Rezaian and Rabikhah. If CQ leaves I don't support Branco but for a desperate moment we can hire Zlatko Kranjcar.

I totally agree with this statement. The time of second grade European coaches is gone. We need good European/South American coaches at same level or better than CQ.
