tbh it might be a blessing in disguise. he played quite well against Costa Rica. The spanish speaking commentators were praising him throughout as well. His general play is very in control, smart and he is very confident on the ball, and draws many fouls. Had a decent assist on the goal as well. If he continues to perform he might attract the interest of some more notable teams, that may be able to develop him better. ( Rostov do not even play with a number 10 in their formation, and their cm's are very defensive so idk where he would play...especially given that he can't play deeper or as a striker...)
