Honestly I would go with Gucci up top from the start, I trust him more than Azmoun at the moment. Then depending on the scoreline and the flow of the game we can bring either Karim or Sardar.

Chosing our striker will actually be a big headache this time since to me all three European based strikers are playing at a similar high level of football, Taremi is also doing great as well

For me, what you said is not a logical reason to use Gucci over Azmoun. Here is my opinion: For away games, I would start with Gucci because he is more suited to the playing style we use for away games most times. For home games, I think Azmoun is more suited than Gucci most times not all the time certainly.

Personally I prefer Kaveh Rezaei over Mehdi Taremi.

Gucci or Azmoun will be fine either way. Slightly different gameplans. Ansarifard or Taremi if we need another goal.

Ofc CQ has made some decisions I initially questioned that later turned out to be brilliant. Our lineup vs Uzbekistan confused me with Taremi as RW but it worked.

1-0 or 2-0 Iran Win. More likely the former. These Arab Persian-Gulf teams are always tough, and we rarely get by with a big margin due to their dirty play, grass rolling, and at times, questionable officiating. It will be a close one, as it was the last time around, but I think we'll break them down and put one past them in the 70-80th minutes. Key is to attack and spread them wide, then break them down in the final third with precise passing inside. Must watch the counter attacks as they are a speedy team, however our defense has steadily become the best in Asia and one of the best in the world. WE shall see...

We should try Ansarifard as RW or supporting striker. He is very very fast, strong, and a good dribbler. Would be cool to see him have more space to display those attributes.

I don't know how Qatar and China would have a chance this round. Our players are performing amazing all around. However football is the most unpredictable game in the world.

The name of players will be announced th 28th of Esfand. The game is 3th Farvardin. Not much time is given to the players for preperation. Qatar has been training way before. They just had a game with Azarbeijan. Shojaei and many
players keep saying they don't want to lose to Iran to any price. So I think we will have a tough game. Dirty tricks like penalty filming, Ref paying all those things are ahead of us. I predict a tough game.

Agreed. We got lucky to be honest to win in that game. Hopefully Teammelli steps up their game this time, because they're going to have to in order to win

Wonder if Shojaie gets the start? Carlos likes Masoud and he may need his playmaking abilities in this game. But I'd definitely go with Azmoun and Gucci up top at the same time. We shall see.
