I'd much rather have him as a winger than as a striker he can run non stop on the flank and his creativity will be higher in demand than his finishing abilities - makes total sense. He must have done well there in training for CQ to use it in a game this is not the first time either that he is tried in this position.

Not really. He shouldn't even be in the starting line-up either as a striker or winger. CQ has played him in that position before, we haven't seen anything special from him. Vahid Amiri would've been a much better choice. Let's hope Taremi performs, but that is not his position and we have better players to replace him.

I think the former is a better defender although Rezaeian is very good too.
