    I would definitely prefer the "winning group":

    World Rankings of the teams of the two groups:
    Nigeria 20
    Italy 4
    Mexico 10
    We have beaten Mexico before, Nigeria should be easy and Italy is about the same level as Iran.

    Paraguay 8
    Panama 27
    Portugal 1
    Panama is obviously easy but Paraguay was in a tough group last time (with Russia and Tahiti, who went for 2nd and 3rd place in the end) and did a good job. They got the second place in the last three South American Championships. Portugal won the last World Cup.

    In both groups we have an "comfortable" win (Nigeria/Panama) but the remaining two oppononts are definitely easier in the first group.

      losing group is actually harder, only tough team in winning group is italy and we already beat them this year

                Lol it looks like the entire tournament has been recorded and broadcasted with a camcorder. And there are only few spectators in the arena.

                With all due respect, but the Persian Cup looked much more exciting than this.

                  If we win our group in the world cup we will most likely face the hosts Bahamas in quarter finals which should be an easy win but then our semi finals match will be against Brazil, if we finish second we will face Switzerland in quarters and Portugal in semis. We have beaten all of the top teams (Brazil Portugal Italy and Tahiti) before and with Russia not being there we have a good chance of winning the whole thing not that we hadn't beaten Russia before but makes it easier. Judging from the intercontinental tournament in dubai n the Persian cup in bushehr I think the most on form team right now is Brazil and we are the 2nd best team in the world.

                      Congratulations.... Champions of Asia and qualified for the World Cup.

                      Iran can beat any team at the World Cup, but hopefully we don't have to face Brazil until the final.
