Obviously not counting any domestic players cause lol. Tough one to pick a standout between Azmoun, AJ, Milad and Reza, all four having great years. Ezza for Young Player of the Year and Karim for Luckiest Career Progression of the Year as he's somehow leading the line for Olympiakos against Besiktas tomorrow

I'm not being fair to the lad in all honesty, I haven't watched much of his club exploits and he's always had a good work ethic on the field whenever I have seen him so I'm sure he's kept that up but the stars have quite clearly aligned in a special way for him to be leading the line for Olympiakos in the latter stages of the Europa League. I hope he bangs them in for the next two months and goes on to be the next Kostas Mitroglou but from what I have seen of him, he'll be out the team come next season, he's not a player for a side with eyes on the EL/CL.

Like I said and I will reiterate, if you discount their club form and focus only on their national team games last year, considering we didn't have a lot of friendlies either, those two performances, really show how important they are to Iran.
I'm basically just praising them.

Thanks guys for voting. Glad to see 3 times the participation compared to last year.
Also glad to see PFDC members actually vote objectively rather than emotionally as opposed to 90 polls when a Perspolisi wins no matter what the question is!!! They chose Hosseini over Azmoun as footballer of the year!

Karim and Reza have consistently been scoring goals during the whole season. Azmoun's top game is probably the best among all Iranian players! but if you count out his last 10 games, he hasn't really been very consistent during the whole season.
But Jalal Hosseini is one of the most consistent Iranian players of the last decade, let alone this year! It's not very weird that a lot of people vote for him. Even at 35, he's one of the best defenders Iran has ever had (if not the very best)!
In fact, I forgot to vote for him in this thread too! lol Please count one more vote for him from me. (and again no, I'm not perspolisi).
