^ I would totally be content with that kit. I'm sure most of us will be content with that kit.

Before the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Ahmadinejad made the news cause of his remarks about Israel. But Puma did sponsor us.
Why the hell aren't we getting a brand such as Puma to show interest?? I read an article the other day about the qualified teams and their kits. The paragraph written under Iran was embarrassing. It said something like this: "Although Iran is wearing their kits, they have not been sponsored by Adidas. We will wait and see what happens."

Our WC Kit from France 98. I love the green panel, and the I.R Iran lettering in red, green ,white. I wish we did something like this, in a more modern variation obviously. I think we also need to have a cheetah element somewhere, its very unique and raises awareness for such a majestic creature. Maybe we could have a cheetah logo on the back of the neck, or in an ideal fantasy world, have the cheetah as part of a redesigned IFF badge.

I’m liking the Adidas kit for Germany in the World Cup.

I think TM could get an awesome kit through Adidas if the deal goes through. I like the simplicity of the Adidas kits, and I hope we get an official sponsorship. I like the idea of a simple whit kit, with a green collar, red stripes on the sides and a bit of cheetah print somewhere to make it unique. Maybe on the back above the player names it could be good. I have a feeling we will end up sponsored by Joma or another lesser known brand, but an official Adidas kit would be nice. All the WC kits are coming out though, and I’m not sure when our official kit will see the light of day.

Anyone remember the kit at the top of this picture in this link?

I really like the simplicity and style of this kit. Apparently Adidas has been looking to the past for many of their kit designs for Russia 2018. I would love to see the green, white and red on the shoulder similar to this classic TM kit. I love that design!

So ADIDAS released their main team's kits for the World Cup. As many of you have mentioned, it is meant to be a nostalgic redesign of an older era. Here they are.
Spain inspired by USA 94'
Colombia inspired by Italia 90'
Argentina inspired by 93' Copa America
Belgium inspired by Euro 84'
Russia inspired by 88' Olympics
Germany inspired by Italia 90'
Mexico inspired by Italia 90'
Maybe Iran will be inspired by Argentina 78'

Late 80's
TBH the 97-98' kits were the only ones that weren't plain white, so Adidas might use one of those as a template, or maybe they just go f*ck it and give us a plain design anyway.
