To heat up our offense we can bring Shojai for Ehsan in second half
To add to our defense we can bring either Omid Ebrahimi or Ali Karimi jr for Ehsan in second half
To save Milmo from injury and pressure we can bring Mohamad Ansari after we scored goal
If Karim is not effective we can bring Vahid Amiri in second half
If Azmoun is unlucky as his recent form shows take him out and bring Taremi to play in LW and move Sasan to SS position to feed Gucci up in front of Chinese goal

I just love the fact that today we have the "problem" of choosing between so many quality players and feeling sorry to have so many of them benched - especially midfielders and strikers. Also, a bunch isn't even in the current squad (Dejagah, Ando, Rafiei etc.)!!

However, I would like to see Shojaei and Ansarifard play - I think they do very well together; especially after their time at Panionios.

I am not sure what game you watched. Taremi played on the right flank. He was not in the centre. ARJ and Hajsafi were in the center. We only had one defensive midfielder: Eza. Watch the game again. Hajsafi and Eza did not play next to each other at all.

That was a fatal mistake. I guess it was because I remembered Taremi scored from the center. He was in right flank but ran occasionally in front of the goal. I guess Hajsafi came back and helped Eza. If it is true that we play 4-1-4-1 who is going to replace Eza if he is injured?

Traditional 4-4-2 against the weaker team of the group (only Better than Qatar). Not trying to put China down but they are not a quality team even if they bring on Jose Morinioo or Lippi as the coach. We should have two forward and a 4-4-2 changing to a 4-3-3 if we don't get the result early on; would be the best against China.

However I think considering CQ's conservative mind; he may just create another new formation to confuse Lippi. We shall see!

cq know lippi is good at defense also, however you need to have the players, i dont think china have the players, like lippi had with italy.we should beat them 2-0

I think it's safe to say we are the only team in the continent besides (maybe) Japan who has the luxury of subbing out over half their starting XI and not have a worry in the world that those coming into the XI are gonna do as good a job, if not better. The depth in the squad is hands down the thing I appreciate most about this group.

Honestly even our B Team would have a good chance to qualify! Too bad it’s not possible to send 2 different teams lol. So much about our dear experts here claiming Iran doesn’t have talents...now we are actually facing luxury problems AND still have plenty of players that haven’t even been invited yet, but could easily play on the same level.
