    Interview with Mohammadreza Khalatbari

I didn't know where to post this so I made a new thread!

What a player he was when at top form! Such a nice guy too.

Very interesting interview from today! He talks about Maradona, his exclusion from the WC2014 and tomorrow's game.

Poor guy, I wish he wasn't excluded from our World Cup squad

We could've used him in the worldcup, and he was with us for so long in our qualification route. It must have been very hard for him, haven't watched the video yet hopefully there was as valid reason why he was excluded and he's honest about everything.

I agree with CQ about most things, but still think he could have been a useful wild-card for the world cup.

I like how the 2 talking heads keep bringing up PP but KB says every youngster should at least play for Sepahan one year. Damesh garm.

I feel for khalatbari for missing out playing at the WC. And wish CQ had taken him even if he never got to play in any game.

However this shows how CQ is not driven by emotions but outcomes. This bodes well for iranian football as we are driven by emotions most of the time and need someone who sees it in black & white.

He acts very professional about it.
He doesn't seem to be mad at CQ or anything.

                  But I understand his heartbreak.

I love this guy and wish him the best.

He could have been so much better too, it's a shame he stayed in Iran.
