the MVP should go to PAG for that fantastic block in the box that most definitely saved a goal.

what was somewhat surprising to me was the lack luster effort by the Chinese team. they just looked overwhelmed. even after they fell behind they didn't change much and I didn't see any sense of urgency from them. this may explains why we didn't get many counter opportunities. that and the fact that some of our guys looked a little tired.

Gucci needs to give a better effort.

          oh, and one more thing:

Would be great if they could increase the stadium's capacity. This, plus a roof would give Azadi an even more intimidating atmosphere.

Congratulations to all for a win.

But I have to say, this team is not playing attractive football..

Shojaie and Ebrahimi were probably more effective than the rest, but Shojaie still dribbles in our own 18 yards. When does he learn?

I remember last year so many users were saying shojaei shouldn't be called up to Teammelli anymore. I hope they take his performance today as a lesson!

I have been following our football all my life, which means from mid 80s till now and I cannot remember a single WCQ or any other international tournament, with TM playing smoothly, without giving its fans heart attacks and if and whats etc.

I salute Mr. Queiroz and indeed this amazing team he has created. All our matches are tactically well planned, and executed. Historically our defense had always been flawed and terrible, hence letting in ridiculous goals. But look at us now, it's become a dream for any Asian side to score against us. Isn't that amazing?

Today's MVP to me was undoubtedly Shojaei, he is a smooth criminal, delicately dribbles, tricks the opponent, passes and crosses amazingly! Props to him, as he was also the one was assist as well.

ARJ disappointed me, he played selfishly and so badly wanted to score, but failed.

Azmoun has been lackluster in the recent TM matches, not sure what's going on with him. I had always mentioned his biggest problem is his immaturity and the grown ego. He plays so indifferently and complacent.

Taremi Danesh Garm. He wastes opportunities, but at the same time he creates and scores as well. Should he improve his scoring skills, he will be scoring many many goals for us for years to come.

MM was once again decent and proved his merits.

OUr defense, along with Beiranvand played an absolute confident and brilliant game, not allowing the Chinese to have a proper shot on goal! Not sure how this team beat Korea last week!

Both Rezaeian and Vahid Amiri improved our game and upon their arrival on the pitch we attacked more and hustled a lot more, especially with Amiri's relentless runs.

Eaztollahi receives unnecessary cards both with his club and TM. He needs to work on this issue.

Ghoochannejad was not really provided sufficient services, and you could barely see him involved much. Hope to see the usual startling Ghoochannejad in the upcoming matches. Even at his club, he has recently not scored much.
