There are 10 Groups but only 15 teams qualify. !0 top teams and 5 best seconds.
The Only way for sure advance is to top the group.
Format

The ten group winners and the five best runners-up qualify for the final tournament. If China PR win their group or are among the five best runners-up, the sixth best runner-up also qualifies for the final tournament.

Esteghlal players are not with U23 team yet. They suppose to join the team in Dubai but they returned to Iran.

What a mess. They don't learn at all.
Even if they go today it won't be alright. They had no practice with the team at all. The coach should have selected alternatives.

به گزارش خبرگزاری فارس، تیم ملی فوتبال امید ایران روز گذشته با 20 بازیکن به مسابقات انتخابی قهرمانی زیر 23 سال آسیا اعزام شد. 3 بازیکن آخر این لیست را مهدی قائدی، سیدمجید حسینی و امید نور افکن بازیکنان استقلال تشکیل می*دادند و طبق رایزنی*ها قرار بود این نفرات از ارمنستان عازم بیشکک شوند.در شرایطی که همه منتظر حضور این بازیکنان در اردوی تیم امید بودند اما این بازیکنان امروز با استقلال به تهران باز گشتند تا شرایط حضور آنها در قرقیزستان در هاله*ای از ابهام قرار بگیرد.در حال حاضر امیرحسین پیروانی سرمربی، فریدون معینی سرپرست کمیته جوانان و حسین اخوت سرپرست تیم ملی امید تماس*ها در مورد اینکه این بازیکنان چه شرایطی پیدا می*کنند را بی جواب گذاشتند اما مسئولان فدراسیون با توجه به اهمیت کار و اینکه تیم ملی امید به صورت دست و پا شکسته عازم مسابقات شده است در حال رایزنی هستند تا در صورت امکان بازیکنان استقلال را به مسابقات اعزام کنند اما اگر به هر طریقی با این مسئله مخالفت شد نفرات دیگری جایگزین بازیکنان استقلال می*شوند.

به گزارش سایت رسمی فدراسیون فوتبال،بر اساس اعلام کنفدراسیون فوتبال آسیا،نشست خبری سرمربی تیم امید ایران پیش از بازی مقابل قرقیزستان،روز 27 تیرماه و از ساعت 11:15 به وقت محلی در هتل ماریوتل برگزار خواهد شد.



با ۱۹ بازیکن آمدیم و فقط یک دفاع وسط داریم

امیرحسین پیروانی در گفت*وگو با خبرنگار ورزشی خبرگزاری فارس، در مورد اقدام باشگاه استقلال به عدم اعزام بازیکنان خود به اردوی تیم ملی امید، گفت: در حال حاضر با 19 بازیکن به مسابقات اعزام شدیم. امید نورافکن، مهدی قائدی و سیدمجید حسینی از استقلال از روز اول کنار تیم نبودند. علی طاهران را از تراکتورسازی دعوت کردیم اما با ما همکاری نشد و او همراه تیم نیامد. قرار شد از عارف آغاسی استفاده کنیم که او در تمرینات بود اما یکی دو روز قبل از اعزام این بازیکن را هم از ما گرفتند. در حال حاضر با 19 بازیکن اعزام شدیم و منتظر هستیم تا ببینیم تکلیف به کجا می*انجامد.
وی افزود: در تهران رایزنی می*کنند تا این بازیکنان به اردو اضافه شوند اما از ظاهر امر پیداست که این اتفاق نمی*افتد. ای کاش این مسئله را زودتر می*گفتند تا تمهیدات لازم را می*اندیشیدم. در این شرایط 19 بازیکن داریم که 3 تن از آنها را گلر و 16 نفر دیگر در پست*های دیگر بازی می*کنند. در این بین دو بازیکن هم مصدوم هستند و باید در این شرایط به میدان برویم. فقط یک دفاع وسط داریم و باید از فرد دیگری در پست غیر تخصصی*اش استفاده کنم.
وی یادآور شد: در شرایطی نیستم که بدانم تکلیف چه می*شود. ظاهرا در تهران جلسه گذاشتند که این مشکل حل شود.
پیروانی در ادامه تأکید کرد:* ظاهرا به طور رسمی گفتند امید نورافکن و مجید حسینی را نمی*توانند به ما بدهند. نیاز اصلی ما به این دو بازیکن است. امیدوارم فدراسیون فوتبال تمهیداتی بیاندیشد تا این مشکل حل شود به ما گفتند شما به قرقیزستان بروید و حتما این بازیکنان به اردو اضافه می*شوند.
سرمربی تیم ملی امید در مورد اینکه مگر آرمین سهرابیان جزو نفرات دعوت شده بوده که استقلال می*گوید تیم ملی می*تواند از این بازیکن استفاده کند، اظهار داشت: در روز اول سهرابیان را از سپاهان برای لیست اولیه ثبت نام 50 بازیکن معرفی کردیم و او هم جزو نفرات لیست اولیه بوده اما برای اردوی فعلی او دعوت نشده است.
وی در مورد اینکه استقلالی*ها گفته بودند با تیم ملی امید همکاری می*کنیم اما این اتفاق رخ نداد، گفت: همیشه در ایران صحبت اینکه باید با تیم ملی همکاری کنیم مطرح می*شود اما در عمل رفتار دیگری انجام می*شود. متاسفانه با تیم امید همکاری نشد. یک عده بازیکن را دعوت کردیم و فکر می*کردیم می*توانیم از آنها استفاده کنیم اما الان با 19 بازیکن اعزام شدیم. در تنها بازی تدارکاتی از آغاسی در دفاع وسط استفاده کردیم اما او را هم به تیم امید ندادند. کارمان بسیار سخت است. مهمترین دغدغه ما انتخاب دفاع وسط است که با این وضعیت یک مدافع سمت چپ یا هافبک وسط را باید به عنوان مدافع میانی بازی دهم باید با کادرفنی در این مورد مشورت کنم.
پیروانی در ادامه تأکید کرد: دیگر نمی*توانم کار خاصی انجام دهم چرا که به قرقیزستان آمدم و دسترسی خاصی ندارم. امیدوارم بازیکنان با تمام وجود تلاش کنند تا بتوانیم نماینده شایسته ای برای فوتبال ایران باشیم. امیدوارم تصمیماتی اتخاذ شود تا همکاری بهتری با تیم ملی صورت بگیرد. در این دوره چنین اتفاقی رخ نداد. تیم*ما در اول راه است. با تیم زیر 19 سال در مسابقات زیر 23 سال شرکت می*کنیم که این خودش یک چالش است اما در همین شرایط با چالش دیگری روبرو شدیم که طی آن باشگاه*ها بازیکنان را به ما ندادند. متاسفانه بازیکنان اصلی را نداریم و حتی نفرات جوانان هم در اختیارمان نیست. دیگر بنده کاری نمی*توانیم بکنم و راهکاری برای ارائه ندارم. امیدوارم فدراسیون کاری کند تا این مشکل حل شود.

Last time with U20 WC he had a similar situation with Esteghlal , Mansourian and Noorafkan. Noorafkan was forced to join the team a day before the game without good team practice.
He should have known better and done something about it. He knew Esteghlal will be out of Iran and even if Esteghlal released 3 players there is no time to coordinate and train with the rest.

he should have alternative players ready for a situation like this but alas he is not a smart, experience or a good coach. It's not acceptable excuses to have only 0ne Cd players.

There are simply so many things wrong with this coach and U23 team.

Today is last day for IFF to submit the list of 23 players to AFC. As of now, there is no news if Esteghlal will release Hosseini & Noorafkan . yesterday Mansourian suggested their willingness to release sohrabian and Ghaedi but that is not going to help Peyrovani.

It was a mistake to wait that long and Peyrovani should decide fast as time is running out. Although Moridi was invited he did not go with the team and there is a news today he will travel to join the team.

If Hosseini could not make it best option is to play Khadempour and If Noorafkan could not make and Moriodi is available best is to play Moridi as A DM next to Sarlak rather than play Shojaei or Razaghpour.
