Update:
Mansourian finally refused to release Hosseini & Noorafkan and said he needs them for Derby. He offered to release Ghaedi and Sohrabian but Peyrovanu did not accept.
Peyrovani then invited Moridi for Nooradfkan and Chaab for Ghaedi.
They should not have waited that late to make a decision and Peyrovani should have planned for alternatives, especially at CD position.
I hope U23 wins and advance, they have to win both games against older players with better preparation but god forbid if they did not make it it's all on those who selected Peyrovani and also heavy blame on Mansourian. Years back when he was trying to be so close to CQ ( same way Peyrovani try) when he was in charge of U23 Iran was eliminated because of he made a mistake and played Kamyabinia as a sub late in the game versus Iraq.
Hopefully, Iran will advance without all those worries.Comment

No report from Iran regarding the correct list. According to Iranian Media Hosseini & Sohrabian are not with the team but are listed with AFC.
there will be 3 days off between Iran's two games and if Derby is off they can join for the second match should there be a need.

Still decent lineup. Nourafkan wasn't so good in the WC, and Moridi isn't much worse he's been great for Foolad last season. Only big downgrade imo is Khadempour for Majid HosseiniOriginally posted by St_Mark View PostComment
