The problem is: if we become second in this group, we cannot qualify anymore. The points we make against Palestine (or any 4th placed team) wont count, so we have 2 points. There are already more teams with 3 points in the table of the second-placed teams than qualification places. So no possibility to qualify through the second place.
We can then only become first in this group when
1. Jordan and Syria tie
2. We win by a 3 goals margin (this is safe) or by a 2 goals margin but then the tie between Jordan and Syria has to be 0-0.

As we are leading 4-0, 90', any tie between the teams will make us 1st, Jordan 2nd, Syria 3rd, Palestine 4th. Only in this case we qualify.
