Look at this to compare Payam Sadeghian, Beiro and Mohsen Mosalman with someone like JB. They could be great assistant to our NT if they had transferred to Europe back in 2014. I really shake my head when I know someone with so much talent like Sadeghian should ruin his life like this.
JB was literary no body compared to Sadeghian and Musalman. Stupid Sadeghian turned down an offer from Borussia Dortmund to play for Persepolis for fame!

This is Iran u22 vs Turkey u22

This is Iran u22 vs South Korea u22 (full match. couldn't find the highlights)

Hahahaha I love it how Edinho scored for Traktor in ET of the match and everyone was celebrating like crazy thinking that this goal would take them to the 2nd spot not knowing that Esteghlal also beat its opponent Sepahan!

They definitely did not expect Esteghlal to beat an in form Sepahan, so this must have been another heartbreaking post-match surprise for them in the very last round, just like it was when they thought they had won the league after the last match 2 years ago only to find out later that they hadn't

This day totally made up for our loss to them 2 rounds ago!
Persian Pride running through my veins!

                Esteghlal for life!!

Exactly I remember when JB signed for NEC. 95% of members here didn't know who he was, back then Sadeghian was already an established name playing for ZA.

                    30k at Samen Stadium.

Can't wait for AQR to host league games. I believe that both Padideh and Siah Jamgan would have decent attendance.

People only come to Samen stadium for very important games, 90% of the season they barely get 1000-2000 people.

They get some decent attendance only vs PP/SS

Both teams need proper advertisement, not only for games vs Sorkhabi-teams. Also, AQR is in the centre of Mashhad, while Samen is 35km away from the city centre.
In the last weeks, regularly 5-8k showed up at Siah Jamegan games. Also about 12-13k showed up when Padideh played vs Tractor.

Mansourian did great job with bunch of kids honestly, kind of by default because the big names choked and he had to trust bunch of kids. I guess just for the fact that they made such a come back after a poor start and their results in ACL he deserves '' coach of the year'' title. Persepolis and Branko did well, no doubt but Persepolis has 7-8 NT players, big advantage.

Only Beiro, Jalal and Amiri were added to the team as NT players, others were called up when they showed their talent in Persepolis; People like Kamyabinia, M.Ansari, Ramin Rezaian, and Mehdi Taremi became famous in Persepolis.

In other hand, SS had many NT players, veterans, usual call ups for NT camps and Mansourian added few more to the list. He brought Kaveh Rezai, Bakhtiar Rahmani, Kanaani, Vouria Ghafouri, Arash Afshin and tried his best to bring Jalal, Beiro and Amiri as well. He already had Omid Ebrahimi, Khosro Heydari and and Mehdi Rahmati. I don't think he did very great. He didn't use few other young players regularly like Husseini, Zaki pour, Barzay, Esmailifar, Nourafkan, and Haghdoost until he hit the rock and was about to get fired.

I think SS young players lifted the team spirit and picked up momentum. Mansourian is a semi decent defensive coach and without his young players he couldn't turn the table in SS club in second half of the season. If he had used only the same preferred players that he had in mind at the beginning of the season, he couldn't succeed. The immense pressure of SS fans and his early disastrous results caused Mansourian to take risk and play the youngsters which worked for him. I don't call him as greatest manager of the year. He used many clueless tactics using players out of their positions and failed in first half of the season. But he eventually found the formula. Still I think the young players in SS made a big rule for their come back to the competition. In ACL SS got the easier group compared to ZA and PP which also boost their confidence. All in all they played much better after winter break.

I chose Persepolis as the best team for first half of season and SS as the best team for second half of this season. Sepahan, Zob and Tractor played decent too.

Samen Stadium is 20km outside of Mashhad and very hard to access, no metro, not even buses go there. At AQR both Siah Jamegan and Padideh could average double what they do now.

Perspolis and Esteghlal finish the league on top for the first time since 2001.
