after the friendly we played, we saw CQ use a few tactics and formation, from 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-2 ,which one is a better option?we can play azoun and gucci up front, and who should start. the left back should it be milad mohamadi?or the new guy who played against montenegro. also should ali karimi start against uzbekistan.

taremi is in excellent form, and should start over ashkan who is just returning from injury. Shojaei is key because nobody can link our play like he does. Torabi, Ashkan, Gucci should be coming off the bench. So many options that guys like amiri, Ansarifard, others are bound not to get any game time against uzbeks.

I agree with you but it seemed to work vs Montenegro somehow. If if we play Masoud as CAM that duo shouldn't play since those are basically 3 of of our slowest players filling the whole midfield

if you watched our game yesterday against an opponent far superior to any we have faced in WCQ so far, then you would know that ezatolahi and karimi together were excellent. They kept possession well, and are both huge physical presences. Also, karimi has a far better range of passing than ezatolahi, and likes to sit deeper, allowing saeid to continue being a box to box player, his best role. considering that yesterday was the first time they played together, they were excellent, and more game time together can only enhance their partnership.

This would be my lineup, I'd give PAG another chance tho. I think nowadays Hosseini and Montazeri together will have a hard time catching faster offensive players

Against Asian opponents, Hajsafi has been wonderful as DM.
If we make it to the World Cup, we have to put a more aggressive and speedier DM in to compliment the other probably slower DM.
