My suggestion has always been to consolidate north and south americas. That way teams like Mexico, Costa Rica and US will be challenged more, which would really help bring up the level of soccer in North America.

As it looks like Saudi Arabia will qualify at the expense of Australia.
Australia has a game vs Japan , that benefits Saudis to secure the 2nd spot in group B no matter who wins that game.

So, its likely a playoff Australia vs Uzbekistan.
And I think Australia can win the continental playoff so we have 5 Asian Teams at WC.
(sadly, cause I prefer 4 without SAUDIS instead of 5 with SAUDIS)

You're jumping the gun and forgetting that Saudi Arabia also has to play Japan. In fact Australia's odds look better because their other game besides the game against Japan is against an already disqualified Thailand. Where as Saudi Arabia is going against the UAE before they play Japan, and the UAE still has everything to play for. I predict Japan and Australia grab the top 2 spots, and then the UAE or Saudi Arabia to take the playoff spot. The UAE has 3 games left against Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Iraq. If they win all three and Saudi Arabia loses to Japan then the UAE will take the playoff spot!!

Not like UAE are any more preferred than the Saudis. Besides, the Emiratis will most likely open their ass for their Saudi overlords as was mentioned previously
