Korea is toast !! New Coach will need more than a few months to learn and understand the team, before he picks a tactic that might defeat TM! it will be an interesting game, Iran are destined to win this one as well, but in the least it might end up 0-0 which is still not good for Korea!

^ most probably they'll pick a Domestic veteran coach who already knows the squad well, at least till they are guaranteed of qualification to WC , then employ likely a high profile foreigner for Russia if they make it ..!
The German coach was an obvious ill fit for the Koreans & in surprised they kept him on so long ..! Hopefully it'll prove bit too late for them ..!

i want Iran not conceding a single goal. our biggest task is in Korea, to defeat our goal. i also take a 0:0 as an 2:2.

Second, Uzbekistan should qualify directly. like to see Korea vs. other group side in continental playoff. if they face Saudi, i am for Korea, but i think Saudi arabia will qualify directly, they become better and are a stable side. would like to see 5 asian teams in world cup, and Uzbekistan in russia is special for the country. they will have also big fan support, and there is no better first world cup for them, as to be in russia...i hope they will do it. they played fair, but they must improve a lot, also physical. they were outpowered...no energy in the second half to even defend well...

I agree very khar to khar. If for some reason Korea and Syria are in 3rd place and goal difference is the same, then since Korea has scored many more goals than Syria they will be 3rd.
Ranking of tiebreaker is : 1. Pts 2. Goal Difference 3. Goals Scored

Also based upon what you are saying, Iran will end up with 24 pts.

One win against Korea and Tie with Syria is 4 pts dadash. 20 + 4 = 24.

It may be but not losing and considering is a record that can't be repeated expecially the no goal if we do to let in goal against Korea is done cause Syria won't score against us

I want Uzbekistan to qualify with us directly.
I want South Korea to qualify through play-offs, and beat Saudi Arabia along the way.
That way we have 5 asian teams in the World Cup for the first time.
Realistically, I think South Korea will qualify directly, and Uzbekistan will not even reach the intercontinental play-off.

Problem is that Saudi Arabia is very likely to qualify directly. Look at their group and things are in their favor.
Japan and Australia will play eachother in the next game, and will steal points from one another (doesnt matter who wins or equal result) it will autmatically put Saudis in the secure second, and maybe even first place to qualify.

SHM is injured for south Korea which is big for us. Also this Korea defence is very leaky they've shipped goals against every team bar Syria they have arguably the weakness defence in the group. We should be able to get a few against them
