For World Cup we need players that actually play a lot. Kaveh and ansarifard should start against Morocco .

Imagine a lineup with taremi, rezaei, and dejagah, they would just bulldoze everyone in a press.

I wouldn’t be surprised if CQ just uses all of our gardan koloft forwards against teams like Spain and then throws in azmoun in later in the game.

We need people who can press and do defensive work against those teams.

I don’t think azmoun would last more than 50 mins in games like that

Oh man, I still remember that WC (or AC?) tournament he was in before disappearing (at least to me) for the past few years. Glad he's cracking it in Belgium, hopefully he'll keep the performances going and stay in Europe. What a player.

Just to temper everyone's expectations. Let's be honest. The chance created is because of an error of the defender and Kaveh not giving up on the pressure. Afterwards I think his touches on the ball were not great and it took him to long to shoot. Next to this the keeper should have stopped the ball as it was a weak shot in the corner he was standing..

I was never a big fan of him and thought he was overrated but now I'm so proud of him and he showed that I was wrong. Damesh garm,

Yes, the error took place because Kaveh pressured him. That's what football is about.
He scored a hard worked goal.
I can't believe people are actually nitpicking this.

Its like the people who complained about Daei's goals and were surprised when Enayati and Khatibi couldn't' do shit.

Honestly against Spain more so than anyone we will need our forwards to be fearless and successfully be able to pressure the opposing defenders there is nobody better than Kaveh. Also Ansarifard is very good at this too if I am CQ I’d be thinking seriously about a Kaveh-Ansarifard duo we have seen Ansarifard be used on the wings on a few occasions he has the pace for it. Kaveh has always been a hustler but he’s never been one to stand out on the score sheets.....that clearly isn’t the case anymore and I think it’s been a result of his hunger to be the best he’s got a real pro’s mentality I really hope he doesn’t get cut by CQ bc we will need him!

apparently levante are the latest team to register interest. They are 15th in La Liga, still think he can do better, much better. Lets see what happens if he keeps up this form until the end of a season, plays well at WC

I would be very happy to have a legionnaire in La Liga again, Masoud and Nekou at Osasuna was always fun to watch.

He should have gone to Levante in the 1st place!!! A player of his quality should get no where near Belgium.

guess what?!? , they didnt want him !! how could he have gone there. Our players need to ditch this mentality that they deserve better euro offers and will only leave Iran, Persian Gulf Leauges for good teams in good leagues. Reality is teams dont really give a damn about our players. They have to go to smaller leagues and prove themselves. In cases like Rezaei they can shine so much that they get better offers than they ever could before ( I think he will get many offers better than levante tbh)

If he keeps up and continue to be in great shape, i want see him in LW side instead of Taremi, at least for the match against Spain. Have a feeling he may not get much playing time in WC.

Feel that he's one of those players who re-tooled and re-focused his game after getting married.

People shouldn't forget that when he was 16/17, he was essentially world class and we were so happy he could take over for Ali Daei.
