Let's be clear on this , the IFF or the sports minestry have not banned these 2 players yet until they come to iran in a couple of weeks and explain their action further.

Update: I read from an Iranian source which I cant find now but someone posted a link to some iranian newspaper based in Iran that said it was a goverment action, not football federation. Which makes this shit worse to be honest. Lets hope its not true

Guys, there is still nothing official. The German media reported or to be more precise German journalists asked the FIFA, why they don't consider sanctions against Iran, btw jerks, it's none of their business but anyway, and the FIFA said, they won't do anything against Iran, because the suspension is just speculation and there is nothing official. The FIFA won't investigate just because of rumors they said yesterday.
After all I think Iran tests the terrain, to see what happends, usually if it wasn't such a big media coverage they wouldn't pay attention like the Minavand case. But IR reacts allergic if opposition groups and western media start a campaign like spamming Instagram and shit and kale kharah over there think, baba we need to show some strengh.
So they start doing shit, the vice spokeman of a Kalehpache furushandeh says some strong words because "Iran can into space" and "Iran is stronk" and shit you know.
If IFF and the gov. sees na baba hava pasteh, va Jame Jahani is in danger, they will do nothing, they just say nothing official baba, but somehow we showed everyone if we want we would do this, but enghadr kharam nisitm, that's it.
Shojaei and Hajsafi will play next year, for sure!
Most importantly IFF said nothing and FIFA said no one from Iran told FIFA to ban both players, which is a good sign.

As someone who has been to previous world cups and already planning my trip to Russia, I would rather that we get some change (women in stadium, changing this stupid Israeli sport embargo) by the people starting to make even more noises than iran goes to the world cup. These things are huge sources of embarrassment that no "2nd round for the first time" will counter. Who knows, something larger could also come from it...

Dameh shojaei garm. People know I don't really like his football (drives me nuts in the stadium) but as a person he is an absolute jewel and has the potential to shake things up. He has shown his character time and time again.

Aghayeh Vagaseyayeh gol, in this instance football is heavily intertwined in politics. I think we as fans need to unite and stay firm that this treatment of our players will not stand.

This is, possibly, the chance to get the change that guys like Masoud have been fighting for. Maybe end this stupid Israeli rule, and start addressing the other backward things in our football like not letting women into stadiums.

I always knew what Masoud and Ehsan did in this climate is a gamble (and they would undoubtedly get banned, I mean neither of them are like Minavand who used to lead sineh-zani etc...) and I really applaud them for it. Dameshoon garm vaghean. Let's support them to the end and see what happens.

I think as long as people aren't getting personal or use foul language, in this instance when football is fused to politics in a bad way, it should be allowed to make posts which aren't directly about their performances for Panionios.
