Now can Panionios sign a replacement for Shojaei? Would be a great move for Dejagah to be honest. He would have decent competition and could make sure he's fit for the world cup, and Panionios would get a very solid player who could make a difference for them in the second half of the season. He is two years younger than Shojaei anyway...

      Please play him as LM...

Think he will play as Left back. In greece its okay as he isnt really gonna get exposed, can focus on attacking.

Fazeli has reportedly negotiated with PAOK trying to sell Ehsan for 600k Euros, but they did not accept.
Kos is very keen, but theonly problem is they don't have a place for non-eu player, until Emenike is sold.

kos is the best option. I think its a matter of time. The transfer window hasnt officially opened yet and it already looks close. The real question is why did they buy that hunk of trash emenike in the first place??

I think I predicted it 6 months ago. They play too much FIFA video games. Anyone with 1/4 of a brain could watch Emenike play since even 2014 and know the guy's career is in (or past) it's twilight. A guy like Emenike is no longer at level of European football outside of the lowest leagues. I think he would be an above average player in Persian Gulf region. Would do okay in IPL, Qatar, etc. Way past being an impact player on a European Champions League team like Olympiacos.

Shame that I, as a fan, am able to notice this, but the leadership at a historically successful club could not.

Olympiacos actually has potential to be great in europe again, at least at the level of Shakhtar, Portuguese teams, Besiktas, who all consistently get to RO16, Quarter Finals. They have a good academy that produces guys like Retsos ( now leverkusen ), Androutsos, Nikolaou, Fortounis. If they wouldnt sign these useless players and instead go for some lower profile, younger players they could be more competitive in UCL. Even with a mediocre team they tied barca, their home support is fantastic and really hard to play with for away teams.

Doubt if they can afford his likely high salary demands through ..!?

also why would he want to go to panionios, he has rejected better greek teams ( PAOK, Panathinaikos). Clearly he wants to stay in germany

Spot on mate.. His time is well over… He could be serviceable in Iran tbh but we probably don't have the cash for him. Emenike should go to Qatar and get some money before calling it a career.

Guys please update the thread to Olympiacos, or should we make a new one for Karim and Hajsafi?
Is it not confirmed? Just yeterday on persianfootball.com there was a post saying he had been transferred!

Crazy to think Hajsafi is still only 27. Feels like he has been around forever and still has many years left

Greek sources reveal that all is set for Ehsan to transfer over and that this will be completed by next week. It is also rumoured he will sign a 3 year contract:

"The 27-year-old left-handed serial has ended. Ehsan Hatzisafi is a player in Olympiakos and all that remains is the official announcement from the Piraeus FC. This is expected to happen next week and Iran will be immediately available to Takis Levisi for the match with Larissa.

The first transcript of Olympiacos for the winter season is a fact that proves that when a real player really wants to take him. We remind that in the morning, Hatzisafi's compatriots had revealed that he would sign a three-year contract with the Reds.

The 27-year-old is the first transcript of Olympiacos for the winter season and comes from a very good season with Panionios. It counts 20 innings with the "blue-capped" having scored 2 times , and has split three assists. He is a footballer who can provide solutions in other places as well.

Of course the presence of Karim Ansarifard played a very important role in his decision. He is delighted with the good end of his affair and is eager to get a job with his new team"

Apparently the deal is practically done, Olympiacos want to buy him for €550,000 and he will earn €400,000 per year

Well done to Ehsan. Very humble and hardworking player.

He progressed from a team like FSV Frankfurt to Olympiacos, a well-respected club in Europe with great tradition. With his mindset, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Serie A or Bundesliga in a year or two.
