Ramin is looking better ! Surprised coach kept faith with him. He needs to keep this up for 90 mins. Still has quite a few unnecessary turnovers, but they are happening in far less dangerous areas. His aerial game is still so weak tho. He really just has trouble in when being challenged for the ball in the air, especially by athletic forwards like last weeks tall winger, anderlechts number 9 today. Definitely something teams may expose in the WC

No, it was a corner routine the clearly practice. 5 players crowded the keeper and six yard box, one pulled away to back post and headed it back into area with all the players, then finished by the other center back milic.

Ramin completes 90 mins and KVO beat anderlecht 2-0. Ramin is improving, still could be better in certain situations ( especially aerial , sometimes 1v1). His positioning was much improved, stamina was on full show, and deliveries into the box were better. His play in possession has also improved.

I mentioned this earlier and now it seems like Oostende is learning how to use Ramin. They played 5 back today with Ramin being a WB rather than a FB. This is how you use Ramins abilities. He has killer crosses and as a Wingback you are given that task this is not the same for a fullback who supports short passes. If they can keep finding success with this formation, than Ramin will have a chance at not only start but to shine also.

I thought that was the scene where he headed the ball out of play under little pressure. Anyways he is improving, and I doubt the coach will drop him after a win like this, and 4 pts out of last 6. This sort of attention to his deficiencies, high pressure to start and keep his spot, as well high pressure for Oostende to get results, plus a clearly demanding coach, and the guidance of very experienced international defenders such as Lombaerts ( Belgium ), Tomasevic ( Montenegro), plus other solid Eastern European defenders like Milic (Croatia), Bjelica ( Serbia), is going to improve him for sure.
