This is 2017/2018 déjà vu . The same exact type of report that supposedly came out of Italian media saying Italy to replace Iran in 2018 Russia game was circulating. We are feeding into the same rumors and ideas now with our stupidity by not allowing women into the stadium and by the opposition trying to ban our national team in Qatar. Here is a better solution to bring the plight of Iranian women when it comes to attending football matches that Fifa easily can do.
    1. Reserve at least 50% to 60% of Iran tickets for its matches for Iranian women specially those who were hurt during this fiasco or had the ticket to Iran-Lebanon game and ask IR to pay for their ticket and travel to Doha.

My plan to promote gender equity at TM home matches:

      1) Women should be allowed to purchase tickets just like men, but at a discount, and without limits on the number of tickets each gender can purchase.

      2) A percentage of the available seats at the stadium should be reserved for first-come-first-serve women who walk up to the stadium without tickets. These can be purchased at a discount. Women can each bring up to 4 other family members (of any gender) to accompany them, but this is not mandatory. All children accompanying women will be allowed for free, as long as seats are still available (to encourage stay-at-home mothers without child care options).

      4) Women, men, and children of the same family will be allowed to sit together, without any concerns for gender.

      5) Hire women guards and ticket attendants to help women find theirs seats without input from other mansplaining fans/akhounds.

      6) Advertise the hell of out this around the world to revamp our discriminatory image (won't be enough, but it's a start).

It is so embarrassing what our county has become. The national team is for ALL people, not just for male supporters! This should have never even been a problem, and it does not make sense why they pick random games that women can go to / cannot attend.

Just saw Sardar post about it in his story about it, and I hope all of our players start posting in support soon. This is ridiculous, and needs to come to an end.

As with most dirty things in Iran, money and power is under the nim-kaseh. A bunch of incompetent, short sighted, plain stupid idiots who don’t know anything but how to steal, lie and cheat.

The real danger is that the powers that be in Iran would rather not have women in stadium than a have a national football team: they are allergic to words and ideas like "women", "sports" and even "national." So there is always the threat and danger of both (women's rights and TM) being trampled by their societal vision.

There's about as much chance of Italy taking Iran's place as there is of my left nutsack winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Vouria Ghafouri: 'What happened to the women supporters of the national team in Mashhad was a shame. As a footballer, I am really ashamed to play at a time when mothers and sisters are not allowed to enter the stadium.'

                    Noosh Daroo after death!

The authorities from top to bottom are now coming up with various excuses and justifications and even suggestions of legal follow ups to preempt FIFA ftom reprimanding and Penalising Iran from the World Cup or other penalties. They thought they got away with it, clearly not.

Now to appease FIFA they must open the gates to women in club games too. There are no national team games for a long while. I hope it happens. That must be the only way they can get away with the Chah they have dug for themselves.

On the fake Italy news. That’s just utter rubbish that has hit the media a couple of days early. It’s called April’s Fools Day NOT March’s!

why take the game to a very religious city like Mashhad?
Tehran couldn’t host women like before ?

Fifa should ban Senegal for turning stadium into laser targeting ground pointing the entire 90 minutes into Egypt, before anything else

The point should be that all TM games need to be open to everyone (including women), regardless of the hosting city in Iran. Otherwise, it's not really freedom/equity/etc if it's just allowed in Tehran.

Of course the games should be open to everyone, but when you (the IFF) knows that having women in stadiums is a challenge, why do you decide Mashhad to be the next venue to try it out after Tehran! when anyone in the country can tell you that this would be an issue and that Mashhad should be the last city in Iran for this to happen in.

And if u know Iranian families they will Picknick there with chai and koofteh sitting on the ground instead of the seats 🤣

Letting families in implies that they don’t let woman without their owner enter. Owner from Islamic pov.

We are so many centuries back! Hell

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.
