What in his situation will change to make him start jumping high and megging defenders again to score those solo goals? Being surrounded by the mighty Alex Song and Lestienne didn’t give him much of a mental boost as some were hoping for in June, and those guys are leaving. What in the next six months is going to be the factor that changes his mentality. If someone can put their prayer beads down, and live in our current reality, tell me, what will change?
Admitting he is out of form and hoping he will return to form without any real reason other than he did it last year against Boateng. I get it he has done it in the past, tell me why I’m supposed to believe he will get back to form in 6 months? Things look worse for his club situation right now than the last 6 months! Some of your logic is just astounding. Wishful ignorance, I’m sorry to say.
He has 6 more months, yes, surrounded by who and what that we think is going to improve his goal scoring ability and tally? Tying an Uzbek team 0-0 does not bode well for their second half of the season, but yes, let’s just blindly hope that he kills it in the second half of the season and scores amazing goals in the World Cup. He is our top choice, but the fact that some of you think that’s a good thing at the moment is scary. This out of form Sardar = losing every group stage match due to an inability to score.

Enough Said..!
Sardar and Dejagha are two players we got who are simply a Class Above their competition in their respective positions in TM..!!
It will take a severe lack of form and fitness and/or an untimely injury for others vying for their spots in TM to take the starting position from them come WC..!!

It’s ridiculous how some have believed Javeed’s strawman that we are anti-Sardar, we are not. We just live in freaking reality and are worried that some of our other options are progressing while our talisman is stagnating.
But yes, enjoy Javeed’s response “der, 22 goals can jump, you wrong gay guy herherher”. 4 likes because no logic and pro-Azmoun.

i said they are the top class players we currently got, IN THEIR RESPECTIVE POSITION ..!
Sardar has literally single handily qualified us for this world cup with his incredible goal tally so far..!!
sure, he has been benched much of late in TM in favor of others, but that is Mostly due to CQ experimenting in order to find depth and finding out who he should have on the back burner in case Sardar isnt somehow available to lead his line, come WC18..!!
Again i agree that he Fked up big time Staying in Russia, especially going to Rubin in a cluster fk up of situation they are in AND WILL LIKLEY BE IN for the remainder of this season, yet his superior Class to others vying for his spot in TM is still glaringly obvious and i personally havent seen too much oft in his TM form either to warrant much worry to panic and instead want to rely on others in CF position..!
neither has CQ, thats why he was the Starter vs Russia, which is the most important game weve played since wrapping up the WCQs...!

We should be ashamed to call ourselves fans if we cant stick by our most talented player whe he goes through a bad run. If you read comments around here its almost like some people want him to fail, simply because he plays in RPL.

Your posts literally don’t respond to any of our points about his lack of form now, and literally all just say but he was good!! we know he was Javeed, and if he gets back there we are in good shape. He’s not there now though, so shouldn’t we be just a little, a smidge, a teency tiny bit worried 5 months from the World Cup?
The argument wasn't whether or not people are worried, the argument was whether Sardar should start at the World Cup. Of course none of us are happy that he hasn't been scoring in the RPL, but we are still saying that he is our best option at striker regardless.

He's a young player experiencing a slump. It happens to the best of players... at 23 years old, the poor guy has the weight of an entire country (who refer to him as the "Iranian Messi" on his shoulders expecting him to score every game he plays - he will improve.

I think we'll need a little more clarification on this one here... what are you talking about?
Warmest regards,
JaveedWe are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.
