worries me how overly pampered he is and @ over 20yo and still way too reliant on his baba o nanash..!! hanooz nanasho mikhad bebare to cluba digash ke barash estamboliye charm dorost koneh..!! then we wonder why he cramps halfway into most competitive matches and if he doesnt get yanked out by his coach too akharasham az koonesh dareh nafas mikeshe...?? lol
now look at how ARJ approached his young career...!!? such a stark contrast in the professionalism levels...!! and to think, in all honesty ARJ only possess perhaps just a lil over Half of azmoun's natural footballing talent..!?

My main thoughts from the Video : Azmoun is a great talent and im really excited to see him in a top league soon (it will happen this summer most likely), but wow he takes the meaning of nane goti to a whole new level. I dont think Ezzatolahi, Mohamadi, ARJ, etc have their parents living with them abroad. But it is very good that he is not worried about money, at least we can say that about him. He collects none of his checks and doesnt even know his contract details (wage).

Him not knowing his wage is not good - at all. He has to worry about money because it can be a driving force. That's what being a professional is all about.

This bache naneh syndrome has affected many of our footballers. No doubt keep you family close - but you have potential to be one of the world's best strikers, you have to take this responsibility and commitment seriously!

ARJ is also very close to his parents. They visit it seems once a month or so and if you recall there was a period where ARJ was travelling to Germany alot to have specialists operate on his mother' s brain tumor. Yet he maintained form and played great.
Alot of this is because they chose a good adviser (Amir Hashemi).

Azmoun on the other hand has advisers that don't seem to have anything to do with football. They are just part of Berdyev's entourage.

missed 4 opportunities so far, maybe 1-2 clear-cut.

                  first half 0-0
Azmoun with half decent chances, but well blocked by defense and the keeper.
Hope for a better second half performance.

there is a difference between being close to your parents and having your nane living with you abroad so you dont feel homesick and not miss another mama's homemade meals and have your (trade-wise clueless)dad only handle all your contract dealings..!
off course a shrewd manger like berdie will take full advantage of you and your family...!
hardly learn any russian, supposedly cause its super hard ...!! off course its hard learning a new language but you would learn it eventually if your back's against the wall and have to learn it to communicate your needs and live appropriately away from home..! when 90% of your communication is with your parents in russia then obviously you dont feel the need to learn much russian and integrate better in their society and clubs..!

your right about finding a trustworthy agent that these guys can pin their hopes on an EU move and not get fked financially in the process..!! i just recall a young ARJ even before going to holland to join NEC, had learned the Club popular cheer/song and made a youtube video of himself signing it before even his arrival to NEC..!! it may seem like a trivial thing but that shows maturity and full commitment to his EU endeavor and much about the character of that individual ..!

Both great players, but in terms of mentality and professionalism Alireza is on a totally different level. Azmoun, unfortunately, still stuck in his childhood.

Talent wise Azmoun was and still is miles away from JB. But JB is a hardworking professional player, he achieved everything he has now one step at a time and slowly but surely. Azmoun is a genius player in the field but an idiot outside the field and a horrible decision maker about his career and future. JB is a smart guy inside and outside field and a mature man. Azmoun is a glorified kid aka bache nane. It is such a waste to see Azmoun ruining his life and talent like this. The talent you see in Azmoun somehow reminds me of Ali Karimi.

A good analogy is the story of turtle (JB) and rabbit (Azmoun). JB was average but consistently developing and getting better but Azmoun was a phenomenal talented kid who got wasted on social media and other distraction who is now far behind JB in international football.

another scrappy and highly physical and boring 0-0 match..!
                                sardar played full 90+
had a lively performance but was hardly afforded any clear cut chances
the couple of times he got a relatively good opening on the goal, he got bullrushed down to the ground by defenders before he could unleash a shot.... in any other league, at least one of those fouls woulda been called for PK.
