I think ( purely my suspicion) that berdyev has rights some percent of azmouns sale. After Rubin/Rostov agreed to share his future transfer fee ( this is a fact, not sure what the percentages are though), that meant that after Berdyev's cut rubin wouldnt be getting much as they would have to give some to rostov, some to berdyev, thus they decided to hold out for $. I wish Sardar had put a release clause in his contract ( 20 million - a high fee but one that if met bypasses all the bullshit and gets him out), so he wouldnt have to deal with so many fucking parties in a potential transfer. Reminds me of brazilians/ some players in serie A who have third, fourth, fifth party owners. Makes their transfers a drawn out, convoluted mess.

"Summer Celtic target Sardar Azmoun endures worst barren run in three years

Celtic may have got a lucky escape deciding against the signing of Sardar Azmoun from Russian Premier League side Rubin Kazan in the summer.

It’s now 16 years since Celtic paid a club-record £6 million for a Coventry City striker by the name of John Hartson (BBC). No one has exceeded that fee since though, according to the Scottish Sun, Celtic would have had to make history if they wanted to sign Rubin Kazan striker Sardar Azmoun in the summer.

The report claimed in August that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers wanted another striker in the final few weeks of the transfer window and had identified the ‘Iranian Ibrahimovic’ as a potential target.

With Rubin demanding £10 million, however, Azmoun would have been far more expensive than Hoops’ legend Hartson.

Looking at his form this season, however, Azmoun has a long way to go to justify such a price-tag. The 22-year-old has not scored a single goal in 12 Russian Premier League appearances in 2017/18 – his worst domestic run since a loan spell at FC Rostov in 2014/15.

Azmoun may have shot to fame with goals against Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid for Rostov in last season’s Champions League but he is far from a prolific goalscorer in the bread and butter of domestic football.

In total, the Iranian international has just 23 goals in 89 games in the Russian top flight since arriving from Iranian football back in 2012."

His value will only drop more dramatically if he continues to stay at Rubin.

He is not the killer what many clubs are looking for. 12 games no goal is very weak for a striker.

No striker on this planet except maybe Messi and a few others can score on their own. It's because Kazans shitty game play and tactics. Send Azmoun to Dortmund or Munich and watch him scoring left and right.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

Then who has scored Kazan's 16 goals so far? Messi?

Kazan's shitty game plan and tactics don't take away Azmoun's bad performances for them this season. Sorry.

Never said it does take it away. Out of 12 games he got subbed in 8 times and only played 2 times full 90 minutes.
In numbers: from 1080 minutes playing time, he only played 576 minutes.
His performance is bad this season but there reasons which need consideration.

The biggest reason is Azmoun's own psychology and lack of motivation. If he played the way he's played this season in any Bundesliga or la liga team with a better game plan, he wouldn't have scored a goal still. He needs something to start his fire again.
