Schafer handicapped his D and Midfielder by playing Cheshmi as CD. Cheshmi is a much much better DM than CD, i know he played against Togo there but that was a test match. Esteghlal need to keep both Hosseini, Mohsen Karimi, Ebrahimi, Cheshmi, Farshid Esmaili, Mehdi Ghaedi and build the club around them.

Seriously based on which rules did the referee not award the clear straight red Card for that Penalty Foul? Cheshmeh was the best taj Player today..Sent off they Had to Play 70 min with one man down the result would have been different..
BTW Why the hell did so many Players pass the ball so so poor? Easy passes that were so slow u had to give it bread on its way so it does not die!!
Seeing kamyabinia u can easily gez. why cq doesnt pick him for Team Melli

Not a bad Derby TBH. I thought both teams played for a win. Perspolis slightly has the edge as they created more dangerous opportunities in front of the goal.
Cheshmifor Esteghlal and Amiri and Mensha for Perspolis shone better than the rest for me.
Boy Esteghlal with 7 yellow cards! [emoji55]

SS by far the better team and the ref made some questionable calls

What a garbage derby game. The overhype seems to effect everyone and blur everyone's vision about what really transpired on the green grass:
1. Players who draw fouls at the slightest contact and dive frequently (from both sides)
2. Players who are so caught up in complaining about every call and drawing fouls that they forget about the actual game
3. Fans who are classless and throw objects and create a scene where there could be bodily damage
The media gives it unwarranted attention to the point that its intensity creates a horrific environment. We did not witness a fluid game. But we did witness a constant fouling, war-zone, shoving, yelling, throwing objects - a complete zoo.

Hated how the atmosphere was, embarrassing that the "fans" would try and injure the players every chance that they got. The players were also way too aggressive (I get there is tension, but every foul had a fight after it, just calm down and play the game). Overall it wasn't too bad outside of this, there weren't too many changes on target, but the game was fast moving. On Perspolis' side, Rabiekhah was absolute garbage, I don't think he completed a pass today, on the other hand, thankfully Beiranvand had a decent game after a long run of terrible performances. Man of the match was Bashar Rasan, fantastic dribbling, great passes, nice shot, very calm and active, he should start more often. Also lol at Rahmati acting like a 4 year old because he was benched.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

I was at a TM game at Azadi this year and tbh per my taste someties it's not that much fun to be around Iranian fans in Iran.
