That "actor" is a charlatan. He says Daei and his brother beat him up in a hotel lobby because they thought he was a spy for sepidrood. A hotel lobby and not a single witness - sure.
who is going to be Esteghlal's goalkeeper for the derby? they don't have a third goalkeeper
I bet you anything, the refereeing committee will reverse his yellow card, thus he will play in derby. He claims that it took less than 8 seconds to shoot the ball, therefore he believes the yellow card was unwarranted and shall be reversed before the derby.
What I don't like about him is his over-exaggerated love/passion for his team. He is way too worked up and indulged in team's image and "passion" than the football aspects. To the extent that he seems more of a fanboy than a football player. I have never been fond of players who put their devotion and passion for their clubs before their actual football career (Be it a Perspolis or Esteghlal player)
Another thing I never understand is why almost barely any footballer happens to express so much passion and love for teams other than Esteghlal and Perspolis. Does real "Passion & Love" appear to exist merely with these 2 Tehran giants, or is it that these players all happen to fall in love with these teams, thus putting their club affection before their footballing career? or is it just pitiful pretentious acts to gain popularity amongst the respective fans?
Mad respect to real loyal footballers like Ebrahim Sadeghi who devoted his almost entire football to his beloved club Saipa for over a decade!
The upcoming derby kind of worries me TBH. Perspolis has not been performing as well as it did until a few weeks ago. Most of our star players have been at best mediocre. The dismal display of players like Vahid Amiri, Kamyabiniya, Alipour, even Mensha is worrisome for this derby. Not to mention the ever shakiness and nerve wracking goal tending of Mr. Beiranvand (Are we seriously using him as TM's main keeper?) I am hoping Branko will use Radošević for this derby. He showed way more reliable than Beiro in today's match against Est. Kh.
On the other hand Esteghlal has been performing impressively, their attacking line is currently perhaps the most lethal offense in PGPL. Their newly purchased player Thiam is an amazing player, with fantastic sense of scoring and play making up front. solid midfield. They also have 2 of the most solidest and dependable PGPL keepers (Shame for them none may attend this match though)
Esteghlal Khuzestan's airplane almost crashed. A Zagros Airlines plane took off twice, but had to return to Mehrabad due to technical problems. Their second emergency landing was more serious than the first one and according to the players, the plane would've crashed, if it wasn't for the pilot.
This is will have political repercussions as well, IRIB will be losing its monopoly over media in all aspects (news, sports, entertainment), once we have one private media (regardless in football or not), it will open the way for others.
